E3 2014 Most Anticipated Games

E3 2014 is in the books. While it won't remembered as an all-time classic, it was still a solid show with plenty of cool-looking games. Here are some of those said games (many of which will be at E3 2015!) My PS4 waits on in excitement.

And if all else fails, I can always got back to playing more DOTA.

List items

  • I didn't want a Wii U last week. Now I kinda do. That short trailer... man, this could be potentially amazing.

  • The Witcher 2 is a great video game. The Witcher 3 will probably also be a great video game. The world is huge, it looks amazing and it contains more of CD Projket's hot RPG recipe. Can't wait for February.

  • I kinda had no idea what Destiny was for the longest time but now that I do, it looks really awesome. It is something to looking forward that is actually coming out in 2014, so September can't come soon enough.

  • I am super skeptical that such a small team can live up high expectations. Nonetheless, the folks at Hello Games have cooked up a great concept and I really (really) hope they can create something amazing.

  • I have enjoyed what I've played of Dark Souls 2, and apparently that is the weakest of the Souls games, so colour me excited. And hey, guns are pretty cool too.

  • I'm not the biggest AC fan, but I keep finding myself playing these games. Unity looks visually stunning and has some changes that may see my don the hood and knives for another year.

  • That dog is gonna make me cry, isn't he?

  • This should say HD but whatever. I have never played Grim Fandango but I hear nothing but great things. Looking forward to it.

  • Super Metroid updated with 2015's rosters. I'm on board.

  • I'm interested by the Homefront sequel? What the fuck? The ex-Free Radical guys are some talented folks and this looks surprisingly decent. Watch this space.

  • While I am not in love with Far Cry 3 as much as other people are, this looks super fun. Big mountain dives, elephants and plenty of silly madness. And it's coming out in 2014. Weird!

  • I should really get into MK9 because this looks really interesting. On top of that, it looks gnarly as FUCK.

  • This could go well, very well if they do it right. Let's hope so, because my expectations are pretty high.

  • This game is very, very pretty. Will it be more than that? We will have to wait and see.

  • HELL YEAH FORZA HORIZON! The first one was a bunch o' fun. The sequel should deliver for sure.

  • I have loved Insomniac's work with the Ratchet & Clank games and this looks super colourful and pretty. Hoping the action here will be snappy, quick and a bucket of fun. Just need a Xbox One first...

  • CIV IN SPPAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE. I need a better PC.

  • Rounding out the list. I was actually more excited for this prior to E3. My expectations have cooled slightly with Rocksteady showing off the (seemingly) lackluster driving sections. I have faith in this series and do hope they can pull off one more great Arkham game.
