Yeah I came up with the associations while @SupernormalStep followed through with fantastic results. I did have a rationale behind each arcana choice but I'm a little hesitant to surface them here. I would hate to make the bomb squad self conscious or anything but if your curious I'd be happy to oblige. I'm pretty sure I can describe each in a sentence or 2 that can directly relate each to the imagery on their respective cards. I'm sure not everyone would agree with these but I tried not to just compare them to characters from P3 or P4. These may sound pretty cheesy so read at your own risk.

Dave created the site and continues to keep it working. The SUN maintaining the Earth.

Vinny entertains the audience with a quick wit and creative use of video wizardry. A MAGICIAN before an audience of thousands.

Drew is the work horse of the group who supports everyone for continued success. The CHARIOT to the future of the site.

Patrick pursues the whole story behind game development to defend the honor of the industry at large. A HIEROPHANT of gaming dogma.

Alex happily contributes to a site he believes in but prefers to stay out of the spot light. The ever present MOON.

Brad seeks a challenge to conquer for the sake of self enlightenment. Climbing to the top of the endless TOWER.

Jeff maintains his position as top dog by excelling at competitive play, editorial greatness, and comedic timing. The EMPEROR of Giant Bomb.

Ryan utilizes his vulgar sensibilities and impulsive humor to captivate those around him. The entrancing darkness of a DEVIL.

This will help greatly with the persona makings. @ u@

We threw some suggestions around on page 31 and page 32 (mostly 32), take a look at those.

I have a general idea of what I want to do for Patrick's persona. I'll go sketch it out...

I like to think I took more of a metaphorical approach but I thank you for the kind words. I tried basing it on the relationship of the bomb squad as a whole. The beauty behind the Tarot symbols is that some of them could mean anything for certain purposes. The art of cold reading is all about duping people into thinking that the card imagery can relate to them on a personal level. I've read accounts of psychics saying one thing for a certain card while others say the exact same thing about the reverse of that card which is not how it's suppose to be. I prefer not to use the symbols to dupe people but rather to pay homage to both a game I love and an amazing website. If anyone thinks that's weird they should try reading Stardust Crusaders.

I like a lot of what you had, but how about this for fitting it directly more into the tarot's meanings? I'll underline the arcana I have changed.

Vinny as the MAGICIAN. His creativity and cool yet lighthearted demeanor let him keep a handle on any situation.

Alex as the LOVERS. In moving to the East coast, Alex shows his ability to make a tough decision. Despite this, he shows his unity and affinity with the site and its staff.

Brad as the CHARIOT. The epitome of discipline. No matter how many Brads he has pulled or times he has nearly been broken, he perseveres.

Patrick as FORTUNE. As the newest member of the team, he shows how quickly things can change— especially for the better.

Drew as STRENGTH. Always calm, patient, and composed; Drew tirelessly produces videos for the good of others.

Jeff as TEMPERANCE. He holds the site together and helped them join their new (and old) friends at CBS Interactive.

Ryan as the DEVIL. You hit it spot-on. His crude humor and unique sensibilities enrapture those around him.

Dave as the SUN. This was actually the hardest one. Dave stands as a symbol of hope; a code wizard beyond compare to whom the team can always turn for inspiration and assurance.

I was wondering where the background on Vinny's Twitter came from. Now I know. These are awesome.

Just checked in after a while. Drew's images don't quite capture his essence for my money - it's a slight complaint in view of everyone else being completely amazing.
