I recently played Baldurs Gate for the first time and it was really daunting to begin with. I stuck with it though and I have to say its easily one of the best games I have played in quite some time. About to dive into the second one and I think im gonna go ahead and get all the infinity engine games off of GOG if they are even half as good.
Im still in shock. I have followed Ryan (and the others of course) since back in the Gamespot days, the arrow pointing down podcasts to the creation of this site. I had thought he would be entertaining us for years to come and it still doesnt really feel real to me yet that we wont see him anymore. Probably wont really hit home til the next bombcast. Having never met the man all I can really do is to give thanks for the years of insight and entertainment you have given me and others around the world and though it may not mean much coming from someone he didnt even know, my heart goes out to his wife, family and friends.
I think its clear at this point that MS have probably lost a large chunk of the "core gamer " audience and that is a big problem for them. However I dont see them changing anything and I think they are gonna bank on the casual audience. Also dont forget that they will sell systems simply because they have a timed exclusive on COD.
But given the all that happened at the Sony show, MS is definately on the back foot and really should do something, ANYTHING to try and get people back on board. I just dont think they will
Well I have played through ME more times than I really probably should of but I played it again after I downloaded BDTS. I thought it was enjoyable and well worth it. I would be happy to get some more DLC but would much prefer ME2
