Thanks for the feature length quick look! Star Fox 2 looks rather neat, letting you move around the Lylat System to counter Andross' attacks.
Overall that's a pretty strong collection of SNES classics crammed into one, tiny console. Makes me wonder if Nintendo does another mini console, what's more likely: N64 Classic or a Game Boy Classic?
Hooray more Demo Derby! But isn't this disc from 2004? Painkiller came out on April of 2004. Maybe this disc was release a year after Painkiller came out because I just remembered this disc was big on the XBOX 360.
My face when I see the roster for Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite
Also since this game has a "Power Stone", the absence of Edward Falcon (or any Power Stone character) is a real missed opportunity.
Though honestly I don't think the roster is entirely bad since there are a few of my favorites back from 3 in here (My boy Sir Arthur is back). But overall this roster just looks so safe and boring. Only 5 entirely new characters in the base roster and 5 new characters plus Venom are locked away in a season pass? Really? Otherwise, good to know that this game at least plays quite well.
I'm late to this but this was a great watch! Dan's BWW story is hilarious!
Also I'm happy they addressed the PUBG GOTY status problem on that panel too. I'm totally in support of Jeff's stance where they shouldn't change the rules this year just to show favoritism to PUBG over other EA titles this year or in the past. Maybe give it GOTY with an asterisk to honor the joy they've had with it while giving a complete game the traditional award. This is of course if PUBG stays in EA all year. It won't matter if it's "officially released" in 2017. Also the rules might change otherwise for actual GOTY talk, but I think Jeff has an excellent argument.
I got to get this off my chest, I don't know if I like this create your character look in this game. I get that the Everybody's Golf/HSG series has alway had an anime look (except for the Western releases of 2, 3 and Fore), but that combined with a character creator makes everyone look like anime XBOX 360 avatars. Otherwise, this looks fun and its nice that EG is back.
I understand Jeff's criticisms of this not being complex in that the shots could have been just like XCOM where you can take your chances and hope for something like a 31% shot to land. However, I think its smart on the developers to make that simplified since this game is intended for a younger audience. Though Jeff's right, Rabbid Peach should heal you after battle. Otherwise this game looks rad.
Also dumb question, but isn't the kid in the intro cutscene a girl?
