Let us all take a moment to remember those poor, forgotten games that (more or less) unwillingly fill up Steam libraries whenever a sale rolls around. I have suffered enough at the hands on Valve and its ridiculously low prices, so 10 days ago I drew a line in the sand and said,
"STEAM! YOU EVIL TEMPTRESS, YOU'LL NEVER TAKE ME ALIVE!" And thusly I have weathered the storm and bought exactly zero games during this past sale. Thank goodness for self-control; I wasn't sure that I had it in me.
For all of you who bought games, PLAY THEM! A neglected game is a terrible thing to waste. At the very least download them.
It sort of depends what you're looking for. If you want something that does the job as an iPod and only that, then go with the classic. I have a classic myself and I love it for my music. Although, I am still partial to the click wheel since I originally had the first "mini." If you want something to search the internet with, play games/apps, and music, then go with the touch. I have an iPhone, which is almost identical. However, I still find myself going back to the classic when I want to listen to music.
My thoughts exactly. I still use my B/W iPod because I only use it for music.
I just got back my copy of RDR back from a friend, and there's a big scratch on the underside of the disc. I didn't even know how BD's could get scratched, considering how tough the plastic layer is above the data layer. He's going to buy me a new copy, so it's not a big deal, but I'm curious if there's any way to fix it. The scratch is right inside the "PS3" logo that is in the center of the disc and it runs for about an inch. It's pretty deep, so it wouldn't surprise me if I'm SOL.
