@mabaseslums: Thanks a bunch! I thought it would be a nice idea as its very easy to miss out on a game for a variety of reasons, and this way I can add them as I go and not worry too much about playing EVERY potential game of the year candidate before doing a yearly list. And aye, Dusk and Ashen were a lot of fun (Dusk especially, it restored my faith in the FPS genre it's so good).

@edmundus: Thanks a bunch! Dusk was pretty amazing, aye. Had modest expectations then it just blew me way. Gloomwood looks really promising too, in a classic Thiefesque-survival-horror sort of way.

@edmundus: Thanks a bunch! and aye, it's nice to see some variety and a little more imagination. I don't even consider myself to be that much of an FPS fan but both Dusk and Amid Evil were just a joy to play. Great music as well.

@seriuzbiznus: Aye, it's always subjective with these things so you're bound to get differing views, which is good to be honest.

Glad you enjoyed the game, there are definitely some good things in there, even if I didn't have a great time. Also, thank you for the kind words about the review.

@johnlocke: Thanks! I'm curious if you can even make such a thing these days with all the risk involved, would be nice though. Nevertheless, the Ossian Studios NWN expansions are pretty neat and certainly give the old dog some life.

@lionsy: Funnily enough, it took 2 or 3 aborted attempts for me to finally get back into the game after all this time, so I can certainly understand the struggle to go back to it now. I ended up going with a straightforward Fighter/Blackguard which, come to think of it, was probably the build I used first time around xD

But aye, tis indeed a great game. Took some time to come around to it but I'm glad I was able to give it another whirl.

@rorie: Oh aye, I'm definitely going to give Mask of the Betrayer a go. Never got around to it at the time and with NWN2 next on my list it should be something to look forward to.
