I will eventually, but probably not at launch. Unless that new Mario game is a launch title, or the Switch version of Zelda is substantially better than the Wii U version, I don't see much reason for me to get one. The portable aspect of it doesn't really affect me either way.

@tyn0mite: Yeah, so they should have some hot and fresh NX takes on the Beastcast.

@tyn0mite: Nintendo has said the trailer is only 3 minutes long, so GB isn't doing anything over it. Maybe if the NX is crazy enough they might record something and upload it later today? Otherwise, I'd say the Beastcast would be the first place they discuss it.

Edit: Jeff said he'd talk about it on his car drive live stream talk show whatever it is that he does every day, so you could listen to that?

@cjduke: Well, it's less that they increased the prices, and more that I think a three times increase is a little excessive.

But also I wish now I hadn't just spent with reckless abandon after the last event. But that's on me.

I'm pretty sure that all of the Godzilla movies have more time spent on the humans than on Godzilla. There might be one set on Monster Island or something that is actually all monsters, but that's definitely the exception to the rule.

I've not seen Shin Godzilla, and if it's a limited theater thing, I probably won't get the chance to. Based on what I saw in the trailer(s?), I dunno that I'd like it anyway. Not a fan of the Godzilla redesign, and half the appeal of the old Godzilla movies for me was the terrible dubbing, and I can only assume this is in Japanese with English subtitles.

@hayt: If you're ever worried about hacking stuff, use a multi-tool instead of actually doing the minigame. Don't forget you can craft multi-tools if you're running low on them. I don't think I actually hacked many of the computer in front of people in the base because one time I did, and they all started shooting at me. THAT definitely set off an alarm.

@hayt: Disabling robots doesn't cause an alarm, but if you don't disable them extremely quickly, they will trigger alarms, and I believe that would then void the achievement. When I got it, I dealt with most robots and the like by either remote hacking them, or using EMP stuff. Actually, come to think of it, I might have only ever remote hacked in that playthrough.

Are you sure you absolutely have to destroy these bots? You only need to complete the main story to get the Achievement. You might be better off avoiding them altogether.

That said, this is the "guide" I used to get that, and some of the other Trophies. If you go to the Foxiest of the Hounds section, it details things that will and won't trigger alarms. It's been long enough since I played that I don't remember all the specifics, but this guide helped me, so maybe it'll help you.

From what I've read, stuff like failing a hack will lock you out from the Trophy/Achievement. Apparently any hack. Everything from a computer in a random apartment, to a lock on a storage room, to an alarm panel in a stealth mission. If this is true (going based on what I read here), I think that's a bit strict. I'd be extra careful and save frequently. I mean, I did, I got the Trophy.

I wish the game had a stats screen for stuff like this, and number of kills. For the no kills Trophy.

Just a year ago they put out what was, to paraphrase one Brad Shoemaker, "almost the greatest game ever made." Something like that, I don't remember.

But yeah. More than anything else, it's just sad to see so many storied franchises under their control. Who's happy about "erotic violence" Castlevania pachinko, or MGSV but with zombies as the only enemies? Look at those CG renders for the MGS3 pachinko and just imagine what could've been if that game got a proper, actual remake. The story of MGS3, and the gameplay of MGSV? Holy moly!

Sadly, however, it's not to be.

Do you really want to spend the rest of your life pretending to like food that you don't? I mean, if you two are married and love each other, you shouldn't let sauce get in the way of that. Just, you know, be polite about it.
