This a problem in all industries, the youth of the gaming industry just means it hasn't gone thru these growing pains yet. Anyone lucky enough to work in games should just take their licks while realizing that it is a medium enjoyed predominately by males. Which makes the old slogan "its a man's world" all the more oppressive and all the more true. Sucks. Won't change. Thanks for putting your 140 character air hugs out there.

There were good games but barely even 10 I can think of to make a list.

In light of the whole Doritos Mountain Dew Geoff Knightley thing I thought I should bring to light an amazing cross promo that could be benefiting every gamer with an XBOX Live Gamertag and an AMEX credit card. If you sync your AMEX card with your XBL account you get $10 off your statement and if you get the Wake Up John achievement (finish campaign on normal or harder) you get $25 off your statement. I mean $35 back for playing a campaign and having a credit card. Pretty sweet deal. Can't wait to see what other kinds of $$ I can earn for getting achievements. My time spent gaming has never been more justified. Other promos linked to this partnership include a trip to E3 for the first 25 synced accounts to solo legendary as well as some of their traditional spend this much here and get some $ back promos. I just think this is cool as shit that I made money playing a 6.5 hour campaign on normal. Have until Dec 31 to finish and it doesn't matter if you sync card after already having the achievement(s).

I played Fable the Journey so I've earned this.

PS All Stars with Cross buy and P4G this month. The device itself is awesome from a hardware perspective The further it works its way into the PSN ecosystem the more viable it becomes long term. I will easily concede however, that this first year has been a failure. Especially with the COD game being a total POS. Gravity Rush and Uncharted are both good games and getting those for free with PS+ is a great reason to buy now.

This is coming out on Disc on 12/4. I wish I knew that. I bought all on PSN but haven't played any episodes yet.

I am rather proud if us folks. To indulge in gaming at the level we do is a great luxury. The generosity of this community is a reflection of how special this website is. I mean to beat out a flagship sponsor on a team level is pretty impressive. The fact that the movement almost doubled its fundraising overall is amazing too. Thanks to everyone who did the do. I personally played clean the apartment, borderlands 2, go out to dinner and then go to bed, but Maybe next year I will really go for it. I will have to hold off on renewing my sub, but it's for the kids so I think GB will understand.

I just finished this last night and I could totally support a purchase. If you want to stealth the whole game it will take you a long time. There is a lot to explore and there is a decent amount of challenge. You could easily playthru this twice with totally different experiences. I must disclose however that I just rented it, and I'm pretty happy with that decision.
