Someone with my terribly uncommon last name (Pippy) is a user of GTAV's twitter parody, Bleater. Not sure how that happened but I used to be a moderator on a GTA fansite. I assume someone from there ended up on the team at some point.

I'm in the final issue of Jon Bois' basketball version of Breaking Madden, NBA Y2K. In it he has every team draft custom players with the lowest stats possible, year after year, until there are no original NBA players left. I'm the MVP in last year in which pros are playing.

I was literally looking at 7 year old gamespot posts of mine yesterday. I saw one of them was in a thread by someone who was asking if DOTA would come out on PSP.

That Resident Evil Remake that just came out probably fits the bill. It'd be a 6 to 9 hour game if you haven't ever played it, but a 2 to 3 hour game if you have.

@ssully:

Everything in the multiplayer. There isn't a single thing that wasn't touched to accommodate microtransactions.

When you look at how everything in GTAOnline costs GTA$ it's a bit egregious that HEISTS ARE STILL NOT IN THE GAME. The longer they hold off on putting in ways to make big gains, the more people end up buying the microtransactions.

And this is why all the guys in this thread saying Rockstar have the freedom to make whatever they want are 100% wrong. During every single Take Two earnings call the very first question from investors is when is the next GTA game coming out. The entire structure of GTAO was designed to keep those investors off their back a bit. Rockstar is still owned by a publicly traded company that needs to maximize their profit.

I played through the original for the first time 2 years ago and found the tank controls fine. I watched Polygon's quick look and there seems to be one small issue occasionally with the alternate controls when switching camera angles. I'd play original, but that's because of my (2 year old) nostalgia goggles.

@illnoise33: You go to the PS4 wiki page then hit forums. In reality the entire forum activity on Giant Bomb is small enough that just hitting forums on the main page will show you every topic that's been posted in during the past few hours. Each individual forum basically has no activity.

This game was too good to be made today, now it would be focus tested to death and sliced up 30 ways before going on sale.

PRE-ORDER GTA VC TODAY AND GET ACCESS TO THE MANSION DLC DAY ONE EXCLUSIVELY FROM GAME STOP

I don't really understand why you think this. To my knowledge GTA V didn't have much of any DLC. I think there was some blimp stuff for ps3?

They haven't done straight DLC type DLC. They've done microtransaction DLC. Every 5 or 6 weeks there will be a new update to GTA Online that will include new weapons, clothes, vehicles, houses, etc. You can buy it all with your GTA Online bucks, but at close to a million bucks for a vehicle it'd take a lot of grinding. Many people buy the credit card packs, so that million dollar car will set you back roughly $18, and that's before you buy any mods for it.

@wikitoups: I don't have any left but I bet I can scrape some up next time I visit my brother in law. Unlike me he's actually had a Nintendo system for more than 6 months. How many codes would get you 140 coins?
