I came to this thread ready to throw down about this topic - as the bombcast is easily my favorite podcast - but I find myself agreeing with a lot of what you say here. I do love the Whatcha been playing segment, but would like more depth to some of the discussions. I would also like to see them spend more time on emails considering that the majority of the laugh-out-loud moments happen in that segment. Good breakdown.

Edit: I was gonna say something about how addicting Civ V is, but Germany fucking attacked me while I was tabbed to GB.

I've always played these games on wii because my roommate has the hardware.  I think this one will finally make me cave in and get it for PS3. EFF YEAH KEYTAR!

If they can pull this off, it could be very cool.
