Their art makes my balls hurt it's so nice. The French do cartoony manga style art better than the Japanese. Wasn't entirely convinced on the gameplay when I played the trial version, felt a little slow... the tutorial mainly. Went on too long maybe? Regardless, everyone should hit up their website cause there's all kinds of beautiful shit on there.     

As long  as game publishers can replicate 'new video game smell' without the manual present, I vote Trees.

Honestly though, it's your mum, and assuming she is basically similar to my mum, a birthday dinner and the understanding that her child is busting his ass at his studies would probably be enough. Get her a bag of classy sweets or something. Shit, last Christmas I got my mum a few boxes of fancy teas.

Only seen the quicklook (fucking three-days-later UK release), so can't comment on Anders but the Elves sound Welsh to my ears. Which makes sense, seen as DA borrows from the Tolkien school of fantasy design, and the Eleven language in Middle Earth is based on Gaelic/ Welsh. Irish and Scottish accents do sound a bit Welsh, largely because those parts of Britain retain a lot of their pre-roman heritage in place names and such. See also Cornwall.

Tactician, radar, shotgun and rocket launcher do me right. The bot's nice enough, but I'm really in it for knowing where enemies are and hitting them with an RPG. Ending an EXO pilot's good time is always a winner. Snagging spawn points is great too, 'specially when I get to start throwing mortars around.

English is a real bugger, I'll grant you. Mongrel language which takes from dozens of others and full of confusing redundancies and double meanings, but even so accuracy is crucial, else you come across as a chuntering bellend.
