I highly suggest you look at your budget then go to either Toms Hardware or Maximum PC's websites and look up their build lists. My suggestion is to wait to build. Save your money till your around 800 dollars. Go with a better cpu my suggestion is I5-3570k and video card like the 660ti or 7950 radeon which ever one is chaper. This will give you the performance you are expecting. Plan on 8 gigs of ram. Make sure you budget a OS purchase which will be 99 bucks. You will also be buying a after market cpu cooler. Hyper 212 evo is cheap and excllent. The extra time spent shopping while you save will give you better insight into what you want and save you money. I hate to say it but I think you are underestimating what you will be spending. Good luck regardless.

8 gigs of ram is plenty for a gaming pc at this time so I don't see why 4 gigs would not be fine for the next gen consoles. Have to understand these machines only have to spec high enough to give 1080p performance on a single hd monitor/television. Now maybe if we were talking 4k tv's which let's face it are many years from becoming mainstream if ever then I could see it but right now the rumored specs should provide ample performance for your average gaming consumer. What will hinder the performance more then anything is the cpu/gpu specs and the amount of ram that gpu can access for the frame buffer. Example BF3 and Skyrim (with mods) can eat up a ton of video ram depending on settings/resolution on pc. These factors will not come into play with consoles since those settings will be hard coded for optimal performance and mods will not be allowed anyway. Next gen consoles will still not equal or eclipse pc visuals/performance but they don't need to so it's a non issue.......

I run the Sapphire 7970 OC. Dual bios switch between 950 and 1000 and excellent cooling with there dual fan heatsink. Honestly as long as you get one with that type of cooling in mind you should be good to go. Actually I could have ran with a 7950 since I play my computer on my television at 1080p.

6 is the best FF of all but as to the PSX titles IX was and always will be my favorite. Truthfully was the last Final Fantasy to actually have fantasy be a focus in the characters and world. VII was excellent of course but what I can't understand is peoples love for VIII? Boring story, even more boring characters and combat was horrible.

My recently built PC is going to be my next gen machine for the next couple years or so. Microsoft has burned too many bridges with me when it comes to their lack of commitment to exclusive's and focus on casual gaming plus the pay to play online model is unacceptable considering the competition. So the next Xbox will sit on the shelf unless Microsoft really comes with something compelling which I cannot get on my PC as well. I already own a Wii U (Honestly I should have waited but the trade in deal for my 360 was too good to pass up.) Still my kids love it and I never purchase a Nintendo system for anything other then Nintendo made games. Mario and Zelda will always be FTW. Sony is another company that will retain my support mainly because they never lost sight of the fact that exclusives are what defines a consoles identity. Games like Uncharted, Heavy Rain and the upcoming Last of Us show that Sony understands that gamers need new experiences not yearly reskins of the same FPS shooters. So the PS4 will be a future purchase once their exclusives begin to get rolling. Honestly my PC has pretty much shown me that it was and always will be the focal point that all gaming stems from making the next gen not something I'm overly hyped about.

Read the article, read plenty of comments then watched the video as well. Guess what? Doesn't change jack squat when it comes to the core subject. Men are men and women are women. You trying to sell something to most dudes? Wrap it in a package of macho BS and watch the dollars roll in. Marketing to women? Play to the values that woman subscribe to and rinse repeat. Most of the time this involves using a good looking member of the opposite sex. We are base creatures who are controlled no matter how much we try by our base instincts. Marketing studies this and has most people pretty pegged in what motivates us. Guys like boobs, guys like violence. So the marketing team behind this just decided to combine them. It has had it's desired effect of making a game that a lot of people are kind of indifferent too being talked about long before it's even released. Marketing team should pat themselves on the back. Mission accomplished.

I built my gaming PC in May and it has opened my eyes to the BS that console makers are serving up to the gaming consumer. If you have followed the digital distribution scene lately you will have noticed how Steam, Amazon and other digital download sites are completely blowing away consoles on sale prices and value. Who needs used when you can get a day one release for 40 bucks? Or wait 2 month's and that same game will be onsale for 50 to 75 percent off. I"ll simply treat Sony's next console like I treat Nintendo consoles. I'll buy one simply to play Sony 1st party games like Uncharted and God of War then it will collect dust while I play all the multiplatform games on my PC. I've done this with every Nintendo console since the N64 and have no problem treating Sony's machine the same way. Microsoft and me are done. I loved the 360 but the pay to play online model plus there complete lack of priority with creating 1st party exclusives has me thinking the next Xbox will simply be a underpowered gaming pc and media hub anyway. I traded in my 360 for a Wii U and haven't missed it one bit. This next gen is the first generation where I have little to no hype coming into it at all. I thank my gaming PC for that.l
