Man swings machete in parking dispute

BERLIN (Reuters) – A German man became so angry in an argument with a taxi driver over parking that he struck him on the head with a machete and chopped off the man’s finger.

The 70-year-old man stormed off after remonstrating with the cab driver about his parking early on Wednesday morning, said police in Limburg-Weilburg in western Germany.

Soon afterwards, he reappeared at the driver’s office armed with a 24-inch machete and attacked the 60-year-old, who was taken to the hospital with head injuries.

The assailant fled the scene, but later gave himself up. He is likely to be charged with attempted homicide, police said.

Man shoots himself in arm after being denied sex

FORT MYERS, Fla. – Authorities say a Fort Myers man shot himself in the arm after his girlfriend refused to have sex with him. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office reported that a 29-year-old man and his girlfriend returned home from a bar early Wednesday morning.

The girlfriend told deputies that her boyfriend wanted to get intimate, but she just wanted to go to sleep. When she refused, he became irate.

Authorities said the girlfriend went to a spare bedroom, and several minutes later she heard two gunshots. She told deputies her boyfriend came into her room and threatened her. He then stumbled into the kitchen before falling into the oven, knocking himself unconscious.

The man was treated for two gunshot wounds to the arm and was taken to jail.

The man was charged with threatening violence and firing a weapon in an occupied dwelling. He was being held on $100,000 bail.

Footage from LP concert on 8/13/08

Went to Linkin Park concert this past Wednesday night, was very excited as they are my favorite band and always will be for a long time, that and this was the first time I had ever seen them perform live, so it was very exciting for me.

All in all, it was a very great show, Ashes Divide followed by Atreyu opened up for LP and I must say they did a fantastic job of doing so. I'm hooked on both of them now at the moment, they've both put out some pretty good stuff.

The show started at around 7:30 pm or so, give or take a few minutes, and didn't wrap up til around a quarter til midnight or so, and I didn't get home til 1:15 in the morning, and I had to work the next day, but luckily was not going in til 11am so had plenty of time to rest. But, all the performances I experienced were definitely worth it, I recommend anyone and everyone on this site who hasn't seen Ashes Divide, Atreyu or Linkin Park live to go out and experience it, you don't know what your missing.

Anybody want a copy of Half-Life 2 for PC?

I already owned Half Life 2 for PC before the Orange Box came out. And when I bought the Orange Box on Steam, since I had esentially 2 copies of Half Life 2, it gave me an extra copy to give away.

So whoever replies first with their email address, will get it. I wont spam it or anything. Trust me. =P

I also have a guest pass for The Ship as well. And no one can have both.
