The progression was great until about level 35-40. It's a slow, grind now, but for some reason, I come back to it every day.
I finally uninstalled it on 4/27/2016 right after they added guilds & raids. Too much of a grind; had to pull myself away from it.
-
Beautiful, but failed to grab my attention for long.
-
Finished up the Xbox One version in Jan 2016. I preferred the previous game's length and ran into a couple bugs, but thought it was great overall. Also, I should have waited for the PC version. I didn't realize it was coming in Jan 2016.

Got the early access pack for $5. Started playing with a friend.
-
It's not doing much for me. The pacing is too slow.
-
Started off great, but I got frustrated by the level with Wisegal and moved on.
-
Getting fairly monotonous after starting my 7th new timeline.

Finally started the series in earnest. I'm blogging the whole adventure here: http://brian-federici.com/?tag=The+Witcher
I was really impressed with the way quests built. Some were simple, some developed across an entire chapter, and others spanned the whole game.
-
I don't play a lot of platforming games anymore, but this one is great. It's just fun to jump around and the controls feel great.
-
Not feeling the turn-based combat.
-
I re-installed the game to play some of the DLC. The game is still incredibly nerve-wracking.
-
Late to the party on this one. I only played through 4-5 story missions and I really disliked those side missions with no checkpoints.
-
I originally played this on Xbox 360 and gave up on it because it wasn't what I was expecting and the controls didn't "feel" right. I gave it another try and enjoyed it more now that my expectations were gone.
-
Finished the game.
-
It's still good.
-
PC version
-
PC Definitive Edition

I wanted to go through the Ninja Gaiden games again. This one is so slow compared to the sequels, but the design is still superior.
-
Lots of blood but the gameplay doesn't hold up like I thought.
-
Even more blood with faster, more responsive gameplay.
-
Guess what? It's still awesome.
-
I remembered enjoying this when it came out, but it does not hold up.
-
I wanted to like it more than I did.
-
Fun destruction with local coop!
-
Fantastic gameplay. Instantly hooked.
-
With the hype around Dark Souls III, I gave the original another shot. I rang the first bell up top and then stopped. The pace of the combat just doesn't do it for me.
-
Reminded me of old school Dragon Warrior.
-
I was watching the TV series on Hulu and decided to give this one a try. So I could experience some of the epic battles.
-
I love the gameplay loop in this game. Excellent character action game! With simple, but satisfying loot-upgrading mechanics.
I'm really excited for the new Platinum TMNT game now!
-
FPS perfection.
-
What a disappointment! Controls were bad. Design was bad. Content was shallow. Combat was not fulfilling. I can't recommend this game to anyone.
-
Spent more time with it than I thought I would. Ultimately, the progression was too slow for me.
-
I didn't connect to this.
-
Really clever puzzle game.
-
I had a really emotional reaction to this game. I thought it did a great job of conveying despair and the day-to-day struggle for survival.
-
Tried the Original difficulty. I liked the balancing act at first, but struggled with progressing. Seemed like there was a preferred solution rather than the freedom to come up with my own balance dynamically.
Too frustrating. Stopped playing when I failed the second episode a handful of times. I just didn't find the game enjoyable to play. The story was interesting, but not enough to suffer through the gameplay.
-
Not as awesome as Doom, but still very enjoyable.
-
Love the look of this game. That stop-motion animation effects look terrific. I found it charming.
-
It's got styyyyyyyyyyyyyle.
-
Great presentation, but reminded me too much of work.
-
RC Pro Am minus the fun weapons.
-
2D Dark Souls that held my interest for a few hours.
-
Really enjoyed this. It's like Hexen boiled down to a 1-2 hour experience. Exactly the type of game I was looking for. Enter the Gungeon and Nuclear Throne were too unforgiving to keep me wanting to replay them. Ziggurat's difficulty levels made all the difference for my enjoyment.

-
Beautiful. Incredible sound. Weird.
-
Finished the first episode, but it didn't hook me. Gameplay was too much like an adventure game.
-
Difficult. Very reminiscent of Rogue Legacy.
-
-
Best coop game Kristin and I played together.
-
Pulled me back in for a little bit.
-
PC technical test.
-
Cool ideas, but the controls didn't feel great.
-
Replayed it on PC. It's still great.
-
I gave it a second try but nothing about the gameplay hooked me. Bummer.
-
Played through a little of it again for a reminder. Good, dumb fun.
-
Really enjoyed the concept, but the gameplay wasn't very intriguing.
-
Played through the "Back from Hell" edition. Really enjoyed it.
-
After many pitches from a co-worker at the office, I bought the game! After a only a few matches, I stopped playing the game.
-
Best investment I could have made besides the actual guitar. The Remastered Edition provides a lot of nice UI tweaks to make navigation, filtering, and song selection much easier.
-
Didn't do enough to hold my interest for more than a few hours.
-
Still love this game. Finally played through it on PC.
-
Instantly hooked on this Roguelike game. One of my favorites of the year. Fast gameplay. Tight controls. Four characters that all play differently. Bite-size sessions.
-
I actually enjoyed this a lot more with a controller. Had to restart it a few times before I knew how I wanted to play this game. I found the characters annoying, so I just focused on the chaotic gameplay and wound up really enjoying this sequel.
-
I miss this series.
-
I still love the combat.
-
Mad Max meets X-Com.
-
-
I enjoy the combat.
-
Cool, Anime boss-fight game.
-
Beautiful
-
It didn't make sense until I actually played it. Put me into a trance at high speed!
-
Didn't grab me.

Tried the demo and liked the world, the traversal mechanics, and the combat. Got to the first boss and it took about 15 attempts before I understood the tug-of-war mechanics. A few hours later, I encountered a boss and plenty of minions that seemed impossible to beat and I got incredibly frustrated. I had to find one of the combat dungeons and play it over and over again for an hour or so to level up enough to defeat the boss. That training proved very helpful as I got a better understanding of how to use companions in the flow of combat, as well as getting more comfortable with switching the rifle type on-the-fly. The rest of the game was fairly smooth after I got my characters a few levels higher than the recommended level.
In a perfect world, the devs would have had some more time to polish up the tutorials, the combat difficulty, the load times, and maybe make those workbench menus more intuitive. It's not a great game, but I found a core loop that was satisfying to me and it helped me get through a weekend where I was sick. Definitely my favorite not-so-good game of the year.
-
Had a blast with this.
-
I didn't enjoy the combat mechanics enough to stick with it long.
-
-
For a game about cars, they don't feel very good to drive :-(
-
EA Access - very cute. I just wasn't in the mood for a platformer.
-
EA Access - like Shadow Warrior 2, I also enjoyed this much more with a controller.
