hey dudes, since the intern position is for the summer, I need to set a hard date on resumes / cover letters. Please send it in by end of day Wednesday, otherwise we won't have time to go through interviews and try to setup relocation, etc.

@duecenage: thanks, we'll play around with firefox. Do you have any specific themes or addons?

@laika: @lordandrew my interview questions will be in erlang and scheme.

@dwigtk: we've dealt with immigration before and Canadians are pretty 'simple' to get permits for (@jslack was/is Canadian).

@sithtoast: @ssully: @revpeters : that's just a general requirement in the job listing for the HR website as otherwise I would get innundated by resumes for people who don't have CS backgrounds (for reference, I was pre-med with a CS minor many moons back). If you think you fit a mold for an intern who wants to help the site, pass your resume and code snippets over. I'm bypassing HR completely (hence the email) so all you really need to do is impress me and the team.

@duecenage: wierd, would you mind checking out chrome? I'll check w/ the encoding group and see what if any changes they've been making to help move us along.

@kishinfoulux: what browser and OS? what video specifically (will let us test)? Any specific extensions?

we're looking into the cut-outs, it looks like it's something our encoder group may have changed so running that down.

got it, we'll take a look, we made a fix recently to put fuzzy dates at the end of their period and i wonder if this is an unintended result.
