They've always stayed one of my favorite bands for as long as I can remember, while other things come and go. Led Zeppelin is timeless. I couldn't call any one song my favorite, but I'll name three - Achilles Last Stand, Thank You, Going to California.
I can't believe this was what got you to give up on G4.
^^^^.
That, and if you ever liked Ryan Dunn while he was alive, your opinion shouldn't change based on how he died, because he drank and drove ALL THE TIME. If you ever heard Dunn on Radio Bam or seen any interview with him, he was a constant drinker. There are many videos of him wasted behind the wheel of a car. He died like he lived, drunk. And I'll miss him.
mmmm, I might have to get into vent for these next ones. I joined vent once before, but it was just really confusing. Once you get 8+ people in one vent channel everyone starts talking over each other, and when you've got people from all over the world all those different accents and dialects are overwhelming. Plus, I'm usually in a vent server talking to other people while playing BC2, or I've got a podcast or music on.
Also, (and I don't know if it's always like this) the chatter in vent usually had nothing to do with the game being played. I like my voice comms to be succinct.
I used to be nothing but a metal head, but the genre wore on me as I got into my twenties.
Theres a few metal bands I keep up with and listen to on a regular basis like Mastodon, Cavalera Conspiracy, Amon Amarth, Chimaira(*), and I'm really digging the new Sepultura album.
* - Chimaira was probably my favorite modern metal band (as my avatar would suggest) until their last album 'The Infection', there was just something wrong with it. They have a new one in August-ish, but their original drummer left (again), along with the bassist and keyboard player. So, expectation is limited.
@PieGuy: I'm not absolutely 100% beyond a shadow of a doubt certain that there won't be region specific DLC, but I'm also not posting on forums like I am. You talk about people being ignorant of the situation and not knowing all the facts, and in the same post spread speculation. You were saying 'region specific dlc' like it was fact when it's been confirmed no where by no one. Anyway....
KM Troedsson (General Manager for DICE) posted on twitter "Hold fast people, clarifications are coming from us. Will be posted on the blog probably tomorrow."
So hopefully sometime today we'll get "clarifications" on this pre-order DLC fiasco. But who knows, it might be info on the Beta, or which US retailers are getting PWP, or how about whats up with BF3 on Steam.
I enjoy clarifications, and am looking forward to it.
