I figured I'd ask the GB community as you guys already have the same penchant as me for genuine guys, shooting the shit, being witty, and actually talking about video games in-depth.

I find many YouTubers are just all copying the ones who got famous so there is this extreme saturation of people being over-the-top reactionary, commenting on every little thing that happens, and are just babbling constantly to fill the air time.

I'm hoping you guys can point me toward some duder-like LPs.

I understand that the visuals not being as dense as in the trailer is bothering people but I have 20 hours in the game and I don't completely understand what is "bs"

Almost reasonably everything in that trailer is in the game aside from:

- As dense population of animals

- Atmospheric effects and textures seem to be higher quality

- There's a lot more ships together in space. Usually its 3-4, not 20+.

- Shooting other ships in the planets atmosphere (which just takes place in space now)

Otherwise, I legitimately am confused about what is a lie. All of those things are reasonable changes after a long time in development.

GB should really consider contracting you to make these at the very least. It'd be a great move for a few reasons:

a.) get's people into the podcast by highlighting the funny bits to be shared around the web with hilarious animation

b.) hey it worked for Rooster Teeth. I'm not sure what a Rooster Teeth is but they have the money and they hired a guy to do animations so maybe if GB hires you they will also have the money.

I know this may not be a possible reality with how much work and games the duders have to push through on a regular basis but I've always thought a series where they go more in-depth on a game that has a deeper community/systems focus (e.g. Rust, EVE, Star Citizen post-launch, Ark Survival, various MMO's etc...)

I've always envisioned it as something like the Playdates or the time they had Dan play WoW for the first time where its split up into multiple parts. I've always wanted to see them go down the rabbit hole of some of these games where you have to team up with other players or deal with emergent gameplay scenarios.

It's probably too much effort per video but I still dream.
