I am done. 24 hours is so short that i will have several times a year where my console will be a worthless to me. Even if they have every exclusives then i will be fine with my PC and if sony doesn't screw this up i will buy there system.
Whether or not this excites me depends on what they define as an "exclusive". Like do they count Xbox One (I tried to abbreviate it but it felt weird no matter what I typed) exclusive DLC as one of those 15 "exclusives"? If so then I'm not really all that pumped but assuming that these are full on games we are talking about here then I am pretty psyched.
I mean even if they aren't all good I think there is a good chance that at least some of them will be. Also I am more than ready for hot new IPs. Good on Microsoft for sticking there neck out with the claim.
Also it shits me something fierce how people are like, oh I was going to get a PS4 and this hasn't changed my mind so now I am totally getting a PS4 coz its the better console. You have no idea which the better console is. Maybe one will be totally broken at launch, maybe they will be equals, nobody knows shit. At this stage I really have no idea what console I will get. Hoping E3 will clear that up for me somewhat.
THIS THIS THIS. I can not find any conformation that it is exclusive games and that is a problem. This could mean DLC and all kinds of other things.
Now i do not think Microsoft would do this, but technically that TV series with halo is an exclusive.
They said right after the Remedy part of the presentation that they are 15 games.
All right and i hope it is true and not them stretching the truth like they have done with so many other things. Let's see what happens i guess.

I started at about 1 a clock and not counting a few breakers in between i have played it non stop for about 5 hours now (I REALLY LIKE IT) my timer says around 2 hours. I have only played through a bit of chapter 2 so far. IF it keeps it up like this it will be maybe 4-5 hours on the timer when i finish, but it will be more like 10 hours of game time.
People flip out at the stupidest shit these days. I thought the ending was good, not great but I enjoyed it. In fact, the last hour (rebuilding the machine) was one of the highest points for the series. I think a lot of people just aren't letting go of this micro-transaction thing and just want to see this game fail. I say fuck 'em, bring on Dead Space 4!
Yes that is all what it is. Not the let down in combat, the over use of monster closets, the lack of any kind of tension, no horror elements, the forced drama, carver, the stupid whinny new boyfriend, the boring samey environment's, the complete lack of any story for 80% the game, the enemy's they spawn behind you, the fact that they only use jump scares, the optional missions are 90% filler with no point, useless antagonist, stupid antagonist, nonsensical antagonist, the enemy verity is non existent and the ending is to forced and have no challenge at all.
Nono my issues are only with the micro transactions. YUP!!! only reason.
Just beat the game and I assume this is the talk about the ending thread. Now, maybe its just because I was bracing for something terrible, but I don't really mind the Necromorph Moon. I don't think its good, but its certainly not the worst thing ever. Honestly though I was never super invested in the story in the same way I was/am with something like Mass Effect. I do think that ending after credits line was a bit lame though. I like Isaac, but I was ok with him dying and doing that ending sting felt cheap.
I think I ended up liking the game more then Brad did but I don't think its as good as Dead Space 1 and 2.
I also beat it and i do not mind the moon. It was stupid, but no worse then a lot of other things. My issues is more every thing leading up to the moon and the entire story after they flee from earth.
After the trailers I've seen opinions of this game do a complete 180. I'm not sure how much of it is the game looking incredibly awesome or how much of it is just DmC haters latching onto something which isn't DmC, but most of what I've been reading for the last few days has been very positive.
I think it is more down to the fact that this is a spinoff and there are more mainline MGS games coming now. So there is less you can hate about it for what ever happens you will still get your MGS stealth game.
