I'd like an invite to the clan, if possible

This app just saved me

I'm stranded in Florida for a few days with only a TV and an Amazon box for entertainment

Thanks for the rescue!

Thanks guys, seems like it is a monitor. I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for a cheap 1080p display.

@mustainium: Which monitor did you buy, by the way? I've been shopping for a 1440p 120Hz-minimum monitor, and I'm currently oh-for-two.

I have a Dell S2716DG, and on the PC side it's fantastic

What's the aspect ratio? I have an old 16:10 that makes everything look like crap on ps4 because it forces the image to stretch vertically. Ps4 is exclusively 16:9 when it comes to games. Maybe the monitor has some options to adjust it?

Going off the description of the monitor, it's 16:9

My guess is that either your monitor or graphics card has a shitty scaler built into it. I would go into your graphics card control centre and have your graphics card do the scaling.

I don't know how it would be done with AMD cards, but for Nvidia, you can just go to Control Panel / Display / Adjust Desktop Size and Position / Scaling. In there you will find a drop down menu that says "Perform scaling on:"

Thanks, but the monitor is working great on the PC, it only looks poor when used with the PS4

Also, is it 1440p, or 1440/900?

1440p

@mustainium: Just how horrible does it look? And does your monitor have native HDMI or are you using an HDMI to DVI adapter or something else? I have a Benq GW2765HT which has an HDMI connector so I'm wondering too how a PS4 would look connected to it.

It's a native HDMI outlet. It's hard to explain, but it looks much worse than what I remember it looking when I had it running on my old TV

So my new monitor has been working flawlessly with my PC, but when I plug my PS4 in, it looks kinda...horrible.

The image just looks stretched and blurry, way worse than it did on my old TV, which is currently in another state.

Am I out of luck with using my console on this monitor? I tried switching to 720p on the PS4, and it still looks rough.

What makes this worse is how pathetically glacial the credit drop is from PvP and Horde.

This is the biggest fuck up so far in the Loot Box mechanic that many MP games are employing. They really need to get on this.

There are some awesome recap podcasts that you can listen to over here. Not sure where to get all of the episodes themselves, but the recaps do a pretty good job of condensing them all. It's been a very long time since I listened to them originally, but the top 40 one hits all the really memorable moments as far as I can remember.

Thanks for the link, I've checked these out and they're excellent, but I wanted to find the full episodes
