@winternet: Thanks. Yeah I was unsure what to do with the bomb. Right now it's just jacked from the bomb's on the Kaboom! boxart. Those were much smaller though, so they worked more. I tried the face from the logo but doesn't quite work with the abstract quality of Activision boxes.

If anyone's got any ideas to perk it up, let me know. :)

Wooooh, I might as well enter, thanks! I've got a couple of things sitting in my inventory that could be added as prizes, although I'm unsure if it's too late. Also the games are kind of crummy (The Ship, Supreme Ruler) so I doubt they'd make good prizes! :B

That's kind of my hope. I remember the PAX Panel from a while back with Rich Gallup, where he said the onus is on us, the viewer, to make sure the guys don't change. If enough people seem to think there has been a change, then it is up to us to make sure they know, and the easiest way for them to find out is money.

I don't spend much, if any time on the forum so I don't think it's 'group think' or 'the internet being the internet' because I'm pretty much outside of this bubble and came to the conclusion on my own - that there has been a shift in quality and quantity. I came into the forum on a whim, wondering if anyone else felt the same, and there was this thread, right at the top! I understand and empathise with the reasons but the end result is the same & it really has been dragging on a bit now.

I'll be first in line to re-up when the content is in line with the price, but right now it just isn't there.

Yeah, I'm pulling out this time. It's a shame but the content really hasn't been there. I keep looking at the "Coming Up On Giant Bomb" area and just thinking "Really? Is that it?". I really do hope it is just because of how busy they are behind the scenes, but at the end of the day no content is no content. I'll certainly pick up my sub again if/when they pick up the slack, but right now I just can't justify the money.

I honestly don't care about ads or no ads, so it purely is just the content for me, and there just hasn't been enough premium or even free content recently.

Hahaha, exactly. He's such an arrogant, self important bum that it's no wonder DeGroot 'disagreed' with him and left. I am impressed DeGroot has managed to keep such a low profile and not fire shots back. I don't think I'd have that kind of self restraint if some mutton-chop wearing know-it-all was talking endless shit about me.

I gotta say dude, your music is INCREDIBLE. Not just this, but the stuff you've thrown up on your soundcloud is amazing. I was going to say you should put out an album. Then I notice you have one. Buying!

I'm a big fan of the NG series too and I'm super enjoying the game. I understand and even agree with a lot of the criticism, but the hate it's getting seems insanely disproportionate to the problems. They are making the quality gap between 1-2 and 3 seem like the grand canyon. I remember people absolutely tearing NG2 to shreds when it first came out, complaining about cheap deaths, awful level design, terrible technical issues, poor balance and how that game spat in the face of the original. Now it seems people consider 1 & 2 to be of like quality while 3 is the affront to the series. It's a weird thing.

At the end of the day though it doesn't matter. I'm enjoying the hell out of it. If some internet dudes don't like it, so what? Good review, bee tee dubs. :)
