@mrcraggle: I've never understood the GB crew's aversion to another Uncharted. There's only been 3 mainline stories, and Naughty Dog has said this is the last for Drake. Every person on the staff has at least one series that they look forward to that have gone well beyond that - MGS, CoD, Halo. Yet it baffles me when Brad says things like "the world did not need another uncharted" before seeing the extended demo at E3.
Oh well. I'm looking forward to replying the series in this collection, and I'm pumped for the multiplayer beta in December.
I get what you're saying, but both MGS and Halo have been around for a hell of a lot longer than Uncharted has. You've got to keep in mind that the 3 mainline Uncharted games were all released on the PS3 within a 4 year period, so there was definitely a point where the series kind of reached a saturation point, and even though the games have gone away, I don't think the sentiment did. Halo and MGS on the other hand have been a relatively slow drip (Halo not so much recently, but I've kind of burned out on it now too), over the course of 14 and 17 years respectively.
