@gilsham: also added. You know I keep seeing people say how great the circles are and how clean the feed is, but you can have the same thing on facebook. The only difference I see is that google+ forces you to do this where as facebook merely gives you the option. So far , to me, it feels like Google+ is to Mac as Facebook is to PC.
@vegoku: In my very limited experience, so far there are not enough people on it to really put it to the test. Also it's still quite buggy. I'm sure it will get better but I haven't seen anything different than facebook. ( Haven't tried hangouts). With a larger user base maybe that will be the leg-up on the fb+skype combo? I hear good things about the android app, but there isn't one for iphone or nokia or blackberry currently.
Invites are closed again. They opened up for a short time last night and I bet they will do so again. I'm gplus.to/sharonp But s o far it's no big stink.
Okay, so I'm quite new to this (and never played minecraft) and I am having copious amounts of fun in single player. I have read through this entire thread and, while the lameos ruining everyone's fun is a slight deterrent, I am still curious about the multiplayer.
So my question to all of your 'seasoned' Terrarians is: When is an appropriate time to make the leap to multiplayer? Is there any gauge of readiness?
@bellmont42: I get a number of ads in Canada as well. SO much so that when I am visiting my fella I prefer to jump on the Roku he has and watch GB vids that way.
