Jesus Christ, this thread has some socially inept people in here.
It's probably not appropriate, because a large number of people won't understand the context of the shirt. That's easy to forget if you mostly associate with the same crew of people, or move in circles that know exactly what that shirt is. There are a lot of casual fans of this site that have NO idea what that shirt is.
I understand the argument that you shouldn't deign to concern yourself with the petty emotional concerns of strangers, but rules like this are actually what keep public spaces viable. You're implicitly agreeing not to be a huge jack ass. It may be just a shirt that says a word on it, but it falls under the same rules as why it's not OK to openly mock people in public.
I think we can all understand the sentiment. Why not make a custom pin or something? That way you can wear it for the entire show, and not look like an ass.
So what, are you going to tell someone who is wearing a t-shirt with a beer logo/cigarette logo/weed 420 bro etc to leave your presence cause there might be kids around? Didn't think so.
If someone has a problem with the words and language on someone's shirt then they are the ones with the issues. Wear whatever you want, it's a free society. That shirt signifies that you have always supported the greatest video game website of all time, pioneered by one of the greatest video game dudes of all time, Ryan Davis.
I feel sick. I've been watching you since I learned how to type 'gaming website' into teh internetz.
There's so many things I'll miss about you. I will miss you so so so much on the podcast, your intro, your great hilarious chemistry with Jeff, your amazing use of the English language, your positivity, your energy, your voice, everything.
I was in such a happy mood, I jumped on good old giantbomb and I honestly thought what greeted me was a sick joke. Sadly it's not, it's the cold reality of life and death. I will miss Ryan Davis so so so much, I wish I could say more but I can't think.
This event was streamed by gamers on a gaming website, they can bitch about lack of gamer content all they want. There were plenty of places to watch the stream without commentary
So it's a great game 'cause of music and money. Right. I found the game to lack any kind of challenge and it just wasn't funny. I preferred Saints Row 1, but that's probably because it was original at the time. Prepared to be really sick of this series when the 4th comes out, as it'll be more of the same....again
