@infantpipoc: I think it might technically be possible to hit him with the BFG during his vulnerability window, but that’s just not feasible.

@infantpipoc:It's interesting how the Marauder was talked about pre-release. The way he's introduced definitely sells the whole showdown bit, but the fact that he can only be damaged by shooting him one time during the brief window really doesn't make for much of a showdown. You spend most of your time on the defensive, which isn't a very Doom Slayer thing.

@rorie: Thanks Rorie!

The strangest thing about GTA IV to me is how muted its legacy feels. The several GTA games that came before it have been lauded since their release, GTA V has become one of the most successful games of all time, and Red Dead Redemption is a fan favorite. But GTA IV occupies this space where not a lot of people seem to have any sort of nostalgia or lasting memories of it like the others. I can't quite figure out why that might be.

@jjbsterling: I have a lot of problems with Black Ops 4 but I also played a lot of it. I dunno, it's really weird seeing Treyarch try to do things commonly associated with long-term live games, like Battle Royale and hero-based gameplay, in a game that Activision is gonna want everyone to move on from in 12 months. That really stood out to me this time around.

My ultimate Call of Duty game, aside from just CoD4, is one that lives long enough for the regular support to really kick in like it has for games like Rainbow Six Siege. Build a community around a singular title that has maps and weapons from all the studios' games collected into one thing. Now that would be cool. But I can't imagine it would ever happen.

@frodobaggins: Oh and yeah, the killstreak replacement thing was part of the original game. I think MW2 might've been the first to do away with that.

The work you’ve put into this is seriously amazing. I can’t wait to see the rest of the list! Great stuff.

I never played Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego but we had the Where in Time one when I was a kid and I loved it. I must’ve played it a lot because I very vividly remember every “level” of that game.
