The card feature seems a bit disorganized, but maybe it'll make more sense when you're using the UI yourself. Not sure about that. The game specific objectives/help thing seems interesting, but I can't imagine that will catch on with many games down the road. It kinda reminded me of the PS4's SharePlay, another feature that Sony made a pretty big deal of that never caught on.

The most exciting thing to me would be the new social features., like being able to picture-in-picture a friend's gameplay and sharing screenshots to parties. That's pretty rad to see on a console.

@dooz: Crisis management has been one of my favorite things to do in the game. I love when a plan mostly succeeds but then is challenged by something, or when it gets most of the way there but a sudden intervention by a third party throws everything off. The lack of a win condition allows for so much creativity and replayability in that regard.

@theoriginalatlas: I’m new to Crusader Kings and the succession stuff has been the most difficult aspect to wrap my head around. Claims seem to come out of nowhere and the political landscape is constantly shifting due to the deaths of rulers and vassals waging war. It’s a lot of keep track of and once in a while the game will pull the political rug out from under you with no real explanation. I’ve been burned a couple times too!

Speaking of Crusades, I just lost my first one terribly after forming a gender-equal religion and creeping it into Scotland (playing as Ireland). Unsurprisingly I had pissed off the entirety of Western Europe with my radical teachings and so they absolutely swept me out of there with very little contest.

Can I Kick It? by A Tribe Called Quest and Deathwire by Rough Francis. The latter has become a staple of my workout playlist. Absolutely awesome tune.

Terrible news. He also played key roles in Skyrim (the character name escapes me! The leader of the Imperials) and was the doctor in Fallout New Vegas who you encounter upon starting the game. Hope he’s able to find a road to recovery.

@cikame: Glad I bought it there because it made me realize how much I don’t like using the EGS. Now I know!

@sethmode: I loooove the close-up conversations. The animations are perfectly exaggerated, just enough to be fun to watch without being ridiculous. I wish there were more of ‘em. The run-in with Liberty was so cool.

I’m really loving it on PC. I haven’t had any major bugs aside from some specific UI oddities, but that’s been rare. The writing and character progression are both really excellent! I never played the first two so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I didn’t know how badly I needed Fallout XCOM in my life.
