I have so many completions of 2. In my last before I began me3 I purposefully allowed Mordin, Jacob, Zaeed, and Kasumi to die. My first ever I lost Jack and Legion on my ship because I was in a hurry and didn't check all of my upgrades. Never have I lost Thane, Garrus, or Miranda. My Shepard met a bad end in 3 anyway, he died in an honorable way I think. He joined his fallen comrades.

I have Nate Shepard as a soldier for now, but I have five more Shepards in the other classes ready to go. I have been surprised at how much fun I am having with the combat in this, it took a while but it has really grown on me. Same can be said of the game, at first I thought it would be a letdown after the first 2 but now the game has become my drug of choice. Infiltrator next!

Sometimes one just has to look beyond certain aspects of a game and enjoy it for what it is. As gaming evolves and becomes more seriously considered as an art form, which I agree it is, the more we all will see articles that delve deeper into games and how they and the characters within their respective worlds are written. I am nervous about this. On the positive side trying to create more respectable stories and characters in video games will garner more serious interest in the gaming field. However, it can also mean some will get their heads up their own sphincters thus examining too closely and ruining the experience. I hope to avoid game art galleries featuring men with douchestaches and women with berets sipping cheap wine and walking around with a false sense of artistic integrity. I also do not take it seriously when a game has a female character scantily clad in an unpractical situation. There are plenty of muscled bare chested men in games out there, and no amount of muscle will stop a blade from sinking into their flesh. It is what it is, and that is all.

Simple answer: Just play the game and try not to over analyze.

A leather jacket for both would have been cool. I am sure there are more flattering pics of femshep in that dress though. I play as a male more anyway, so I am gonna go drool over my virtual leather jacket. Ahh life is good.

Why is it whenever I go to a game site now someone is bitching about sexism? There has gotta be something better to complain about. Like yoo-hoo. Why the hell do I still have to shake the damn bottle? All this talk of equality for sexes and races just makes me sexist and racist. And now I want a yoo-hoo.

But is this enough? I think we need a transsexual Shepard in between the two discs. Perhaps broshep standing like Marliyn Monroe over a vent on the Citadel? Some people are conflicted, and we should just keep including everyone. Besides, I may prefer broshep, but I always play as a custom dude. I want a custom box. Yeah.

3 will be an excellent conclusion to the series. 1 will no doubt remain my favorite in the trilogy, but I am sure 3 will be great. I don't mind gameplay changes or Jessica Chobot or any of that, I just look forward to playing and immersing myself in this game. I feel many have let the "video games are art" debate go to their heads, and many have forgot how to just sit, play, and have a good time with a good/great game. RPG, shooter, whatever. What does it matter? It will be an enjoyable experience.

"Baby, if you were a booger I'd pick you first." That's all I will say.

Not surprised. The franchise was good but didn't seem to have the "it" factor to propel it into the stratosphere. The first Resistance felt like an old school shooter with all of it's guns, which was nice. But, much like Killzone, there is one piece both franchises are missing. It was an enjoyable franchise, but probably won't be remembered as anything more than solid.

Back in 1993 and 1994 it was Doom 1 and X-Com. Then years later Jagged Alliance 2. Then Mass Effect 1. I have large gaps in between games I play the hell out of.
