My game of the year that didn't come out this year was Fell Seal: Arbiter's Mark (although the Missions and Monsters DLC did drop in June). If the game had had a box, the back of it would probably have read something like, "If you love Final Fantasy Tactics, you'll probably think Fell Seal is pretty good," and I did.

I was at that E3, and I don't even remember any Adema. I certainly remember a lot of Britney's Dance Beat though.

Imagine every weekday getting home to load up the next installment of the P4...over a seven month period. It seemed a little as though Jeff and Vinny were right there with the viewers.

So many of us were discussing the murder mystery on the forums, trying to put the clues together. People started making fan art of the guys playing the game, which in part even led to some of those artists' being asked to design for the site.

Sooooo many ER meme-ish type comments were placed in the comments section, like the ones about how nothing stops the ER, because basically nothing did. It didn't matter if E3 was going on. The ER was still posted. It was a great span of time. Yeah, when you hear people talk about the P4 ER so fondly, there's definitely more to it than just a great game.

For me, there was a kinda weird sense of belonging that being part of that whole experience brought. It was a really popular feature on the site, and as P4 taught us, "Popularity leads to intimacy," so maybe that's why we all liked it so much.

Anyway, I haven't really felt that way again since then, but this QL of Persona 5 helped me remember it a little better. Nice to see Jeff and Vinny be considerate enough to work this into their schedules, because it's really the best way to have done it.

Can't wait to play the game myself.

@indigozeal: Just like in the NES/SNES Mario games when shooting fireballs/sprinting and then jumping at the same time, you would keep the tip of the thumb on the charge or fireball and hit the jump with the middle of the thumb -- where the joint is -- by bending the thumb down.
