@flashflood_29: Could you specify in greater detail who to call? Also, how is the marketing division of gaming like? There's a few people on GAF afaik that work in that part within devs and publishers

I'm a communications major at my university (Just transferred) and am 99% certain I'm going to switch my major to Public Relations really soon as they're in the same college, and I'm a people person who enjoys working with others and as a team. Not only that, but PR, for someone who excels in English/Writing/Oral communication skills and not so much in math, provides for a lot of different avenues I could explore.

I ultimately would love to work in games as a member of a PR team for Publishers/Developers, and was wondering if any Bombers working in those areas of the industry here could share their input. What do you think of it? How do you like it? What tends to occur in the usual workday?

I'd definitely like to see a sequel to Gravity Rush at this year's E3, as well as any new IPs. New IPs really get me excited, as I hate whenever gaming falls into a "Sequel-slump" every now and then and the creative new titles don't get the attention they deserve.

Oh,and I'd also like more details specifically on Persona 5 (But that's probably more of a TGS-thing), and a North American release date for Persona Q, but somehow I don't see that happening.

Transferring to Ultros right now. My character's name is Jensen Fiore. My class is Paladin, and if you PM me whenever you are on, I will be on. I'm free essentially most of tomorrow, though I'm more likely to be on during the evening, So, 6-12 EDT.

And 'Answers' is playing on my computer right now as I do this. Holycrapthisissoawesome.

I've been waiting for quite some time for server transfers, and I'm either going to join Ultros (For the Giant Bomb FC) or Gilgamesh (For the FFXIV Reddit FC), coming from Goblin.

How active is the FC? I love Giant Bomb, and all you guys, but I'd much rather be in whatever the more active FC is. I'd also like to know that the FC will stay on the server that they're stationed on. THis became a big issue for me in GW2 when my guild moved servers, and I couldn't afford the server transfer. As a result, I got left behind, and eventually kicked out.

I do need to go to someone's town...I'd really like a fishing rod and a watering pail, if anyone has that in Nook's shop...

We should all leave our gates open as much as possible for other people who may want to drop in and hang out in our towns. Opening the gate seems like much less of a hassle and inconvenience than it was in Wild World! :D

EDIT: On second thought, it's not a great idea. But maybe we could find a way to announce to the board when we want to play multiplayer and when we have our gates open. c:

I haven't done a whole lot to brag about, but...

From my knowledge, the things worth credit to me are,

-Beating the "Extreme" set of levels in Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops+ (Which is meant as a multiplayer expansion anyway)

-Almost 100%'ing Oblivion (No longer have the disc and...Ugh, who was the genius who decided to make 2 separate achievements for completing shivering Islands, for Male and female?!)

-Completing Final Fantasy VII (For the first time) and only dying once.

-Completing Super Meat Boy...Not a huge accomplishment, but I felt good afterwards...

-Defeating the 6 Arthrosarus in Lost Odyssey (That is still, hands down, the toughest task I've ever completed in a JRPG...I still get bad memories..)

-Got the normal ending to Sonic CD (First playthrough ever) and only lost one life.

Not too impressive, but then again, I generally don't attempt crazy challenges because I hate having to doing the same thing over, and over, or try something for HOURS and get nowhere.
