Can Rorie stop keep assuming every freaking question out of chat needs to be read on camera, or stop and continue to filling every moment of pause in people talking with his non-sequiturial nonsense, please?
Fixed! Also embellished with politeness. Continue with the nonsense unabated, @rorie.
Neat. Double duty: both a retrospective and a review. Also, 10 years since the last Burnout. Maybe this paves the way for a genuine successor if it sells well?
In the case of Giant Bomb, the migration to video content is journalism's loss--except when Game of the Year rolls around, and I'm reminded why I first enjoyed visiting the site way back in the late 00s. The Quick Looks and video features were fun back then, but they were a novelty because Giant Bomb produced so much genuinely great writing and in-depth deconstruction of new releases alongside them. The video content was all the more special for its moderation. It took me ages to figure out why I enjoyed the early years of the site more than I do now (and times/demands of the consumer base change, so that's not a slight), but when I read Alex's list and revel in the quality of his writing, I remember why.
