  • This is by far the best game I've played over the last 12 months. Simple gameplay, but with huge rewards and amazing level design.

  • I love Scott Pilgrim. I love Anamanguchi. I love beat'em ups. This game was everything I wanted out of Marketplace games and Scott Pilgrim feel. Love it!

  • One of the best soundtracks I've heard in years...it's only trumped by #3.

  • An extremely intriguing story, with the most compelling protagonist I've seen in a Rockstar joint. Loved it!

  • One of the most well crafted stories I've experienced in a game in a long while. Andy Serkis knocks it out the fucking park on this effort and although the gameplay could've been a tiny bit tighter, I still enjoyed it while it lasted. This is a game I will definitely go back to once a year and love equally with each playthrough.

  • I feel extremely inclined to add this game to the list as it is without a doubt in my mind the most fleshed out and realistic game of hockey that I have ever played. The modes are all well crafted and I've invested at least 50 hours since I picked it up in October. Of course the game will never be considered for game of the year, but man, it is so good, especially if you enjoy hockey.

  • Intriguing direction in terms of visual style, audio and game mechanics. It definitely had an ending that stuck with me and while it lost me at times, its puzzles were extremely rewarding and definitely worth my time.

  • It's definitely more God of War. The ending was not all that good, considering what the series had been about to that point. Although the end wasn't great, the character action was still as good as ever and definitely kept me intrigued, story wise, until the end. But I mean hope....really?

  • This game got a lot of shit for its design choices, however, I still enjoyed this game a lot. The end game was rather weak and the way they get you there was not all that well done, but I still loved the folksy British shit that these games always have. Having Simon Pegg and Bernard Hill as your compatriots in the game didn't hurt my love for it either.

  • Buggy game design, but this is a wasteland that I was compelled to explore. Unlike fallout 3, I felt more like I was affecting how the game was shaping up more than i did in F3 and the characters felt so much more interesting and compelling.
