"@mook201: Its also the developing curve and costs of the system as well.  Developing on the PS3 is much more difficult alltogether which prompts a lot of developers to half ass it or not do anything at all, like Valve who doesnt develop for the PS3.  It may be a stronger system, or may not be - it is at least more complicated and frustrating that pushes a lot of developers away when using it."

Its kinda sad really. The PS3 version of TF2 is terrible because they can't be bothered to release the DLCs. I love my PS3, I get a lot of fun out of it. And this really saddens me to learn that I might not get anymore games in the future.

"I'm afraid it's all marketing bullshit at this point. Most games that are not 4X Space Sims or similar ilk appeal to both people who play games a ton and those who only play occasionally. I will use the example of Halo 3, which appeals to both me (a person who would detestably be called "hardcore") and one of my female friends (who kind of sucks, but can still beat other girls and my little brother. Thus, casual?). These examples show that the majority of games appeal to a wider audience than most of the GameFAQs crazies would like to admit, so the term hardcore can only really be applied to games that are either too hard or too complicated for the average human being to play (Ninja Gaiden, Civilization) which are surprisingly few in number when compared to the games that have the potential to appeal outside the regular contingent of people who play games regularly."

Not all of us GameFAQS people are crazy thankyou very much! But anyway, I consider myself a harcore gamer because of the way I play my games, not which games I play. For example, Plants Vs Zombies would probably be considered a casual game. But once you start looking at the people who dedicate all of there time into perfecting strategies, growing their wisdom tree to max hight and getting all the achievements. They would be defined as a hardcore PVZ player. You could have a casual player of say, TF2, playing every now and then for a laugh, or the hardcore player dedicating entire weekends to clan matches. At least this is what I've always though.

Honestly Jimbo, I would much rather play the actual Doom then this. And not just because its a rail shooter. It just doesn't look fun to play.

Then you might like The Fifth Element. It is a great sci fi movie with a great message.

This, The Fifth Element is my favourite movie, and no not just because of Milla, sheesh...

I spend at least 5 hours a day playing games, on weekends and holidays, about half the day. So I have enough time. Interesting thoughts though.

Well most of you would've noticed the recent chunk of console commands appearing on the wikis, I myself was one of the people who put one of these up for HL2. I'm just here to say after talking to NuclearWinter that we actually aren't allowed to do this, I was lucky not to get banned unlike Ferginator, so people if you are going to be pasting console commands in here, first do two things.

1. Check with if someone has already made a guide for these particular console commands (ie. me as I'll be making a lot of these now to deter people from doing more of these subs).

2. Don't put them on the wiki, put them on a guide, lest your face be banned from these halls.

Thanks, SL33T.

My steam achievements won't appear, and I have made sure my profile is public and i have tried both putting in the url (http://steamcommunity.com/id/SL33TBL1ND) and just the word "SL33TBL1ND" with both my account shows up but none of my achievements do. And while I'm here, whenever I make a blog or forum post every time i press a key, or indeed click in the text box, the box becomes longer. Strange eh?

@MB: Witty segment names? Lovable personalities? No thats not right because I'm described as an asshole by most of my friends. Well probably our biggest selling point would be the "Iron Designer Challenge". This is where Ferginator will come up with a game design based challenge that we have to think about during the show. But yeah, your kinda right, we can't do anything to new because everythings already taken.

But hey, you might as well see if you like it... Now this is just sounding desperate, sorry.

Well, me and Ferginator4k (now known as Pacifistic Terminator) are going to be doing a (hopefully) regular podcast from now on called the TEMcast. If you feel like listening to a couple of idiots and a rotating guest talk about games and be general all-round nerds I encourage you to at least listen to our first episode. It will be up this Friday. After listening to it email us suggestions and things (the email for that can be found on our website which will be revealed shortly), or if you prefer, you can just post them here.

Our website is http://tem.1colony.com (yes free web hosting sucks but we can't really be bothered to buy a domain at the moment).
Plus this is also for our (currently small) gaming clan, The Evil Musketeers. All the info for this is on the website, anyways as I said, email or comment your suggestions.
