I just know this is going to turn into the same debate as PS3 trophies and saying "just ignore it" really doesn't cut it. Certainly it doesn't have the immersion destroying problem of in-game achievements since you don't exactly get 'immersed' in a website, but again, tiny bit of effort to create an option so people who don't like a thing can turn it off and people who do like it can leave it on. On a site this centered around user-input something so simple should be customizable.

I have mixed feelings about achievements in general, sometimes they're amusing or encourage you to explore a game or in this case a site in new ways, but mostly I think they're an unnecessary distraction.

It would be nice if there was an option to turn off quest pop-ups, especially for in-progress quests. I don't need a reminder every time I do a status update or change a list.

It is on Steam in mainland Europe. Still full price (50 euros) though.

@Kamasama:  You know I was not aware of that, but you're absolutely right. Tried it just now... works a charm.

- Advanced search: multiple keywords that must all be matched
ie find me an open world game with fictional language and aliens = Outcast

- better image formatting... hard to put images where you want sometimes (like say having a row of images lined up)

Since recent updates all of my lists show a strange url referring to the thumb of a current or previously deleted entry in the list.

For example Playing shows the url  "http://media.giantbomb.com/uploads/1/14030/615664-gta_thumb.jpg" just above the first entry. A quick glance at some other people's pages shows that many (though not all) other lists suffer from this problem.

I find it hilarious how after government intervention had to save an utterly broken financial system from total collapse people still think The Market is the answer to everything.

Greed and self-interest isn't 'democracy at work', it's just greed and self-interest. Does exactly what it says on the tin.

Only downside is even the Desmond sections are in Italian, which feels a bit odd if you're used to his English voice... but not a biggy.

Did you check the audio options? Maybe this varies between the PS3 and 360 version. I played PS3 in Italian with English subs.
