....Was it the one on PS2?  That's the only MGO I ever heard of or played.  If it's that one, then I played the shit out of that game.

Dissecting these films are pointless.   Both were shit, the 1st was less shitty than the first one but still shit.  The third film will be shit as well, but that's ok.   They're summer movies.  Enjoy them in the theatre, and forget about the whole thing on the ride home.

FYI Apply this formula to any Micheal Bay film.  He makes shit movies with big booms and car chases, nothing more.

Shrug, all I know I will be sitting on my couch in god mode without having to get up and switch disks, while peasant 360 owners will have to get up twice to fully enjoy the complete game.

Better than a 20+ minute install or the 10+ minute patch downloads...
Yeah, fuck you for owning ['the opposition']. I support [a different company from you] and they love me in return. The [company and hardware] I support are better than the [company and hardware] you support. The ['opposition'] has no redeeming features whatsoever.
Seriously, fuck console wars. It perpetuates 'gamer' stereotypes and does absolutely nothing for the medium. Spouting shit like this in defence of your toys is beyond child-like (and no doubt a residual behavioural aspect from when you were a child). These are mega-corporations; why would you pledge your allegiance to one in such an asinine fashion? Play the games, leave the squabbling to the pre-teens.

Take a step back and consider this fact: you are arguing over exactly the same game. You both have different boxes that play, more or less, exactly the same games.
Sorry, I couldn't hear you over my Blu-Ray copy of Inception that I had playing in my PS3.  I'd retort, but talking to a peasant 360 owner is beneath my social class.

I call bullshit on these pics, it's pointless to speculate until Tuesday anyway when the reviews can be released.

@somethingdumb: Speaking as a dm.  No.  You just turned the whole game in a level selection screen.

That being said, to each his own.

I took over the game from my brother who used to break the fourth wall every other session, I to my recollection have never broken it.

@somethingdumb said:

 As soon as anyone tries to roll some kind of check on him, he'll break the fourth wall and directly address the player and tell him that a god cannot be swayed with luck.

A better way to handle that would be to say "OK, you need to roll a 75 to beat him if he rolled a 1." (on a 20 sider)   Not really breaking the fourth wall, but still giving the players a sense of just what they're dealing with.

I don't understand the nostalgia for these old games.  The recent MK release should serve as a reminder and put a damper on this as bosses were generally cheap as fuck, levels were ridiculously repetitive with repeated deaths requiring playthrough over and over which made the games more frustrating than fun.

It's hard to tell what kind of point you're trying to make with the bi-polar paragraph statements you have.
Yeah, since people are reading rather than hearing what you typed a /sarcasmoff might be a nice addition as people actually are doing just that, selling their systems and switching to xbox.
