I use the ACOG with the M4 carbine most games I play. Its good for medium range but at longer range it gives you the ability to even get the better of snipers due to the M4's accuracy in that game.

The ACOG is good with a gun like that. And it generally means me killing the guy who has not seen me since all he has is the red dot scope...

Just use the m$ carbine and its almost impossible to miss an enemy, the recoil and accuracy of that gun is incredible at long range :)

1) This is no where near as bad as the halo kid, an American... Just though I'd point that out =P

2) Why is that kid, sound somewhere around the age of 11, playing a game for 15-16+???

3) Honestly films these days, cutting corners everywhere, they just keep using the same person for the enemy all the time!!! =P

Heres what I do, the second you hear someone speak, just go to the scores menu and mute EVERYTHING, even if someone is shooting at you just do it.
 
Becuase that person with the mic is never just a normal player, it always some kid with a high pitched voice who wont shut up and loves to swear every second word...

No, because warhawk, sonys biggest exclusive online multiplayer game, comes with a headset.

The main reason sony did not include one though is that the ps3 is compatable with most bluetooth headsets so you can just use a mobile one.

To be honest though I only use my headset if Im playing with friends, I hated it on COD4 when people just spoke utter rubbish and played terrible rap music through the headphones. I generally just mute people as soon as they speak now. I dont need to know every time they get a kill, or when they die, and whilst they might feel helpful pointing out every enemy funny enough all the other players have eyes and can see too :?

Cool. I had SOCOM 1 and 2 for the psp and oth were brilliant. Ive been waiting so long to get this game on the ps3 if its even half as good as it is on the psp I will enjoy it more than COD4 which is getting a little too easy for me now lol.



Expanding on joining games I was also wondering can you set up a party so you all join a game the host sets like in COD4? Or can you only join a game once a friend is in it like warhawk?

Hi, socom confrontation is coming out in a couple weeks to the UK and I was just wonderig if the game still suffers from any lag.

Also how is the lobby system? Is it fast and easy to join a game, and how easy is it to get friends into the same game as you?

Well Hopefully it will get good reviews. Im expecting all AAA to AAAA's from reputable gaming sites.

I dont understand this, I mean, if a big company really needed a virtual communication space why use sonys which is prone to any bugs on PSN when you could pay someone to make something similar but exactly to your specifications?
