That confused the hell out of me. I can't even point out what necessarily confused me. I blame Giant Bomb for saying that podcasts are compatible with playing games. I can't listen to this while I fuck around in Epic Mickey.

I think if you made it shorter it would be okay, it is a little long for an intro song.

I found it interesting.  I suspected I would.  You were fairly clear given the complexity of your points so well done on that - giving summary/conclusion points at the end is probably a good idea and I appreciated that.
 
I like the point you touched upon that player's being aware of failure is enough in most cases and that really you just want them to know that it's there without actually subjecting them to it.  That's very true and I've thought a bit about that.  I'm only sad now that I know a mechanics spoiler behind your future dream game should it ever get produced :(  :).  Go wherever you want with this topic or elsewhere as far as I'm concerned, can't think of any suggestion to direct your discussion particularly and it's interesting to see what springs up in your mind by itself as of interest to talk about.

@RagingLion: I actually think that this theme (the value of "potential occurrences" to the player experience) is where I will go with the next post. It's a subject that applies pretty broadly to all of game design.
