No. I like writing in my books, I don't like managing data or batteries, I don't like waiting for the device to decide to change the page, I would never read on a regular LCD screen, and I'm a big fuddy-duddy romantic anyway.

Favourite: Halo 2

Least: Halo 1

EDIT: Wait, I forgot about the stupid bits with the flood in Halo 2 where you pretty much had to sneak past them while invisible. Halo 3, but it's not exactly something that I would recommend all that strongly. Multiplayer is worlds better.

My primary monitor runs off the GfX card, while the second one goes off the integrated. Then I have another cable going to my surround receiver and then to my TV. As a result, I can have all 3 going at once if I want to, just by pressing some hotkeys. It's a bit clunky in some ways, but on the whole it gets the job done. I can pretty easily choose between watching or playing things on the monitor or on the TV.

EDIT: oh, specs:

Radeon 6950

i5 2500k

7 GB of RAM

3 HDDs

Antec Sonata III case with an extra fan in it

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus fan

500W Cooler Master PSU (it's not actually silent, but it's quieter than any of my other components.)

R.A.T. 7 Mouse (paid a lot less than retail for it or I wouldn't have bothered, but it is very nice)

@RainVillain: I believe that Unity can do 2D, but it really is intended for 3D.Why don't you muck about with a trial version of RPG maker and report back about how flexible it is? I'd certainly be much more interested in working on something that lets us put in some crazy unexpected stuff.

@RainVillain: I've never used RPG maker so I can't say for sure on that, but I can tell you that using generic gamemaking tools like Unity or GM will take some doing. Of course, they also grant you a lot of flexibility.

I would also be willing to work in Unity, as long as we work in C#. I need to become more familiar with those tools for an upcoming class anyway.

Well, I'm quite handy with Gamemaker (I basically lived in it for most of the last school year) and I am an aspiring game designer. A JRPG is quite a commitment, but if you have some more people together I would be into it.

Well, there was a big fucking explosion in our harbour. That was pretty awesome.

The separation movement is also very interesting, if only because the situation is so absurd.

If you go further back than that, our history is kind of about fish.

None, because it all depends what game that mechanic is in and how it is implemented.

And really, this is the correct answer as far as I'm concerned. There is a time and a place for more or less anything.

Needing to pick up ammo manually instead of a character performing the action automatically. It's unnecessary.

No way, that was awesome in Crysis! Certainly not in every game, but it fit the flow that Crytek were going for very well.
