One thing I have found with running a quad core system is if you disable 2 cores for the app it can run a hell of a lot more stable. 
 
To disable cores, start the game. Then bring up the task manager (alt+ctrl+del) and go to processes. Find the borderlands.exe process and right click on it and select select affinity. Then uncheck 2 cores. Run the game. 
 
It may not help but it helps me run several PC games (DOWII, L4D, Fallout 3)

I own half life twice and fallout 3 twice. I might end up having borderlands twice as well :(

The thing with this list is how can you forget about them before they are out...maybe they are forgettable games. 
 
And yes I know brutal legends is out and no I haven't played it so I'm not judging it yay or nay.

The irony that kills me is I can buy them but don't have time to play them anymore. Since it ends up being a waste to buy new games i just don't until I have some down time.

I voted other because most of those could be summed up with lack of dedicated server support.

I'm not getting it period.
