So long as the NX doesn't turn into the Wii U2, Nintendo is just moving in the right direction.
But really, this seems like the biggest speculatory shit. Nothing will come of this news for at least a year, Iwata just wanted people to know they're up for change.
Isn't this part of their Spring Time sale? I'd hardly say they're sending it out to die. Not to mention I've seen it a ton on most major gaming websites (GameSpot, IGN, Kotaku, Giant Bomb, etc) for the past week.
I always really enjoy these. Normally you and I have similar tastes, but the Souls franchise never clicked with me for one reason: it's too damn slow. I play a lot of character action games with counters or parries & fast dodges and I think because of that I just couldn't get the timing down. It's weird because I love all the nitty gritty character customisation in the game, but I don't enjoy the action.
I am however VERY interested in Bloodborne. Part of me is afraid that the same thing that happened with Demon's & Dark souls will happen at the end of March, but I really hope the slight speed change makes it more my cup of tea.
They're gross. I used to work at a movie theater and this topic would get brought up almost daily. Some people would admit to liking them, but no one ever bought them.
