It's probably not the most obvious choice, but there's a good chance I'll be playing Getting Over It on loop. I've beaten it about a dozen times so far, and I'm at the point were it just feels really relaxing to play.
Yeah it looks like I had a very similar experience to you (I'm also in Australia). I was in a JB Hi-Fi about 3 days after release. Was there to buy something completely unrelated and just ended up mentioning it to an employee in a "I bet there's no chance of getting one, huh" kind of way and the guy just said "oh, nah we've got like 30 of them" so I got one.
Armor will block 5 HP damage from every individual hit that deals 10 HP damage or more. Hits that deal less than 10 HP damage will be halved. This means that armor is especially effective against rapid fire weapons and shotguns, both of which deal damage by firing many low-damage projectiles (shotguns fire multiple pellets per shot).
This has been my most anticipated game for years now so I'm bordering on unreasonably excited about it coming out. Jonathan Blow was also tweeting about going through ESRB and PEGI ratings a week or so ago so I'm pretty confident in it actually coming out this year.
It is ESRB and PEGI day for me. This is so much ... fun ...
I've intentionally stayed well away from looking at anything that's been shown about this game as to not spoil myself for it. Is anyone else as excited for this? Do you guys feel its long development has dropped your interest at all?
