Coleco Vision- Turbo, Gorf, Mouse Trap

NES- Super Mario Bros. (Gyromite and Duck Hunt were included)

SNES- Super Mario World and Gradius III

Dreamcast- Sonic, Shenmue (first time I used adult work money to buy a system)

Gamecube- Metroid Prime (picked up the gamecube when toys r us marked it down to 99 bucks. what a steal)

Wii- Zelda and Red Steel (that game was bad)

Consoles after that didn't really have anyhting that were must play imo.

Sports games have essentially peaked.

I started playing it on SNES with Madden 92(?)- Passing involved 3 windows at the top of the screen. Players were numbers, not names.

Madden 93 or 94(?)- No more passing windows. Now it's like real football seeing your receivers run down the field.

Eventually they added real names to go along with numbers.

Then came truck sticks. Then vision cones.

The last 'innovation' was story mode.

With the possible exception of first person views as QB or any other position, I don't believe there is anywhere left with programmers to try to go with football and by extension sports games.

Late to the GB party, but man, the bombcasts and quick looks got me through many a boring day.

Good luck to everyone leaving!

When I'm stuck and feel like I have to look at a guide (which I didn't do in the past but do now because I just don't have the time) I consider that a failure on the game's part to give enough information for me to continue.

Most recently, I became a vampire in Oblivion and was stuck for days only moving around at night while trying to figure out what to do. Eventually looked at a guide to solve my problem which there was no way I would've known what to do without cheating. And now I'm desperately trying to avoid looking at anything for future roadblocks.

Spent a literal week looking for the dwemer puzzle box in Morrowind last year before I cheated and looked it up.

Most other times it's due to a bad save like in Ninja Gaiden, or FFVII with a end of game save without healing potions.

I'm guessing they'll have to work in the office again pretty soon with California opening up and it'll allow them to play around with their podcasts that they couldn't do remotely.
