@mostlysquares said:It's really nothing but a cyberpunk Fallout with some elements of GTA V. There's nothing innovating about it.

I wasn't expecting the world to change with this release so I'm pretty satisfied overall playing on a base console. Could it be smoother and be bug free? Sure, but it's packing quite a bit with all the content. Could it look better? Sure, but I'm playing on an old ass machine.

@imunbeatable80: I'd never spend money to advance my character. Seems like cheating and a rip off.

However, I spent $15 worth of clothing options for my 7 foot 2 center I played in the 3v3 multiplayer mode in 2k20. First and last time I'm spending money on virtual clothes.

Good read. Like you wrote, there's a process to all the animations in trying to be realistic. The last few 2K's, the players feel heavier and slower. Even if you're a speedy point guard, I still felt slow. Doing crossovers felt slow. Fast breaks were slow.

The RPG elements of My Player in recent entries weren't as good either imo. I liked playing these games as a created player, and it started getting harder and harder for your player to get better.

I still have NBA 2K12 (their peak imo), which has the Legends mode where you play famous scenarios throughout history as Magic, Larry, etc similar to Tiger Woods' Masters game mode playing golf thoughtout history.

@sargon: Stings hottest period was a lot of him staring people down and pointing a bat at them,

Some Nitro episodes were literally just 30 seconds of Sting far away at the end of the show. "We'll see you next week, folks!" while the audience losing their minds.

People (in general) complaining (rightfully) about crunch are the same people (generally) complaining about bugs, so what I get about this game is that there will be lots of complaints regardless.

You don't develp a game for close to a decade (not sure about this as I haven't been following), in a genre that's barely touched no less, that people have been clamoring for for the longest time, and get out of this alive.

This is one of those rare instances of phenomenon releases like (thinking back to HUGE releases) like San Andreas, GTA IV, Halo 3, and even BOTW. Reviews won't matter to a majority. Perhaps players will read the review AFTER they've already bought and played the game a bit. I can see Cyberpunk the game being one of these moments.

I put my quip because I thought it would be humorous since you essentially went the long aay to saying Eurojank. Did not realize they should not be directed towards posts by mods. Or was the term offensive?
