Dynamite Heady, Kid Chameleon, Shinobi 3 and Revenge, The Ooze, Ristar, and Contra Hard Corps would be cool.

Long shot and I am sure I'm in the minority but I would love to see Garfield: Caught in the Act. Pretty sprites and animations but kinda iffy platforming. It's a first party game so there is a small chance it might happen.

I started watching and enjoying Psycho-Pass which is pretty much anime Minority Report

Don't know how well either has aged but Trigun was Western/Sci-Fi and Afro Samurai has some Sci-Fi elements as well. Plus the dubbed version of Afro Samurai has the voices of Samuel L Jackson and Ron Perlman so that's pretty cool.

Discovered a Nepalese restaurant located inside an international grocery store and holy crap is it good. The main thing are these spicy dumplings in a broth that are so freakin' good.

Q: The Winged Serpent

In memory of Larry Cohen I watched one of his films I had been putting off for one reason or another. For a movie about the ancient Aztec god Quetzalcoatl being resurrected and attacking New York City I was not expecting a surprisingly good crime drama for most of the movie. Like imagine Pope of Greenwich Village is going on at the same time Rodan is destroying the Upper East Side and you get the idea. 4 also watch The Stuff for a great Larry Cohen double feature out of 5

This might be the first one of these games I try. I was tempted with Bloodbourne but it still looked too intimidating and frustrating. I freakin' love ninjas and this seems slightly easier or at least beginner friendly than a Dark Souls or what not.

I enjoyed the strange trip that maybe I didn't fully understand it but had fun along the way. The older I get the less I care about "cinema sins" to steal the title of a hack Youtube channel and more of how a movie made me feel. So successful film in my book.

I hope Jordan Peele keeps both writing and directing his continued success inspires more unique voices in genre film. I think the worst thing creatively would be to have Peele work from someone else's script because his movies feel personal and yeah maybe that is self-indulgent but it makes his movies so far stand out as something special.

Watched two horror movies last night one good and one bad.

Bad Samaritan - This is the bad one. It's about a valet who robs houses and stumbles upon the home of a serial killer who is holding a woman hostage. Yadda yadda cat and mouse games happen and all works out in the end. What makes this truly awful is our protagonist speaks with an Irish brogue while our serial killer who is played by David Tennant who is inexplicably speaking with an American accent. It's not as bad as Eddie Izzard's American accent but it's not great either and it's rather off-putting. Did the director not want two characters speaking with an accent or did David Tennant take this job on a low budget very obviously filmed in Canada movie to practice his American accent? 2 Doctor Who Decided Tennant Should Speak in an American Accent out of 5

Cheap Thrills - This was a pleasant surprise. It's about two childhood friends down on their luck, one a failed writer and the other a thug who's been in and out of trouble with the law. They run into a rich couple at a dive bar who begins offering them money for increasingly messed up dares. Does a great job of balancing horror and comedy while also managing to be quite dark. 4 Pat Healy looks like he could be Bill Burr's brother out of 5

@beachthunder: People liked The Terminal? I thought it was widely considered one of Spielberg's worst movies.

At the time I thought it looked visually amazing but the story was dull and there was no Final Fantasy elements in a movie with Final Fantasy in the title. Like give me a chocobo, something with magic crystals, maybe Behemoth pops up, or some kid is holding a plushie of a Tonberry. Give me something vaguely Final Fantasy related instead of some story about killer ancient space ghost or whatever the fuck it was about. Doesn't even need to be "fantasy" 7 and 8 were very much more Sci-Fi then fantasy but again use fucking elements from the Final Fantasy series in your movie called Final Fantasy.

First Reformed - Apparently this incredible movie from last year wasn't as good as Bohemian Rhapsody or Green Book? Great movies like this getting overlooked prove why the Oscars are pointless. Plus it's kind of a shame that Ethan Hawke while still having a solid career was never a huge star. The guy is an amazing actor and this might be one of my favorite performances from him. It's on Amazon Prime I can't recommend it enough that I'm not even going to bother giving it a cutesy rating because it is a real film.
