Best of 2014
Here are my top 10 over the last year. This only includes games I played, and despite working on Isolation, I genuinely think it deserves it's spot. No bias, honest.

THE DA series is one of the most expansive and interesting RPG franchises out there. inquisition more than makes up for the mis-step of DAII and was easily my favourite game this year.
Tons of content, it looks and sounds fantastic, plays well and has some incredible voice acting. Looking forward to the DLC!

Absolutely beautiful game. The story was compelling enough to finally get me to start reading the Fables comic series. I think this tops even Walking Dead.

Just gorgeous visuals with some incredible depth for a strategy title. Very interesting story where your choices matter. A somber tone but very emotionally effective.

They nailed the look and feel of the original movie. There's a great deal of tension with the Alien, and although I had problems with the game, I very much enjoyed my time with it.

A great expansion to the first series which builds t an incredible climax in episode 5.

Super fun party game. I thoroughly recommend it.

It's Dark Souls.

A real big RPG. Some great meat to the content but lacks around the periphery. Ending was a bit hollow and had some bugs, but a good return for that style of game that I enjoyed playing.

Interesting stylistically with some fun gameplay. Didn't hook me enough to play through more than a couple of times, but enjoyable while it lasted.

A great game t play with friends. Every time a bunch of us have been together, we pulled this one out.
