" Is there a date on the PC version? Why isn't coming out at the same time as the console versions? "
Because of dirty thieving pirates, Ubisoft are afraid that PC piracy will hurt console sales. I'm only interested in the PC version as well, so next time you meet some arsehole who "gets all his games for free", punch him in the head for me please.
" ^^ wow. Overcompensate much. could have been summed up in a sentence or two. "
Are you really complaining that he made a post that was more than one to two sentences? "
Good writing gets to the point. It is absolutely legitimate to complain when somebody cannot condense their argument effectively on a forum. If somebody has to explain their argument in that much detail, they should probably either write a book or seriously reconsider if what they are saying makes sense. "
I'm surprised he didn't manage to venture off on one of his anti-pc rants while bragging about his big display and expensive audio system. Not to mention his comfy couch for the 100th time. I guess that's what happens when you're a lard arse. The fat gets into your brain and chocks off any cognitive advantage you once might of had. "
Rule 1 of GB: Its nice to be nice, until somebody insults you personally in which case go a-freaking-head and kick their asses. "
Why do these damn console lovers swear that us PC gamers can't have a big display, comfy chair, and a massive audio system. I used to have a comfy chair and a 7.1 surround sound for my PC. Until I had to sell them because I lost my job. "
Because they choose to remain ignorant, after all they do choose to play on a inferior gaming device. If you can't astound them with brillance, baffle them with bullshit. "
Like the fact that I can actually put all my Xbox 360 parts into a PC rig? I'm actually going to do that right now. "
That reminds me, I recently saw a dude who turned his Xbox 360 into a PC :D

@EdIsCool: Are you mental? Have you seen what a high-end rig can do compared to a 5 year old console? You can be assured that it's the consoles which are the unexciting one.
" I don't know if you know this, But WOW and Starcraft are actually pretty popular. It shows. "
The unfortunate point being that the consoles are obliterating the PCs at everything except the things only the PCs (currently) can do - like MMORPGs and Strategy games (which, as a life long PC gamer, is the only reason I game on any of my PCs anymore - except for Counter-Strike). "
See Binman88's post above, as far as you should be concerned, sales figures mean should mean zero to you, just completely out of your reality when it comes to having the best experience possible and the PC obliterates consoles in that regard. PC's being able to do only MMORPG's and Strategy games is the biggest load of fucking shit I've ever heard. Next you'll be bringing in the old comfy couch myth lol. The PC has an excellent line up next year, and will be the platform of choice for the multiplatform titles. "
You're delusional. The PC has few exclusive, outside of strategy and MMO titles and certainly not enough to justify building a new sweet ass rig. It wasn't so long ago that I would build a new high end box just for gaming about every six to twelve months, because there was so much fantastic gaming to be done on the system. There wasn't even a consideration of having to justify it to yourself. In the last five years, this has changed dramatically. And how do you regard the "comfortable sofa" to be a myth? I was a PC gamer my entire life. Never even owned or touched a console until I was almost thirty years old. I wouldn't even entertain the thought and thought WASD+M was the only true way. But you know what? I only play games on the PC when I have to, now -- such as EVE Online. Or when the experience can be had elsewhere, but in absolutely no appreciably similar fashion whatsoever to what I can get on the PC. I sure as fuck don't want to spend another 20-40 hours a week hunched over my desk at my computer per week after 60-80 hours of doing so while working. And as much as I like my beefy system and the pair of 30" ACDs and average speakers connected to it, I much more prefer throwing myself into the middle of my 8' bean bag in front of my 65" screen with my $25k B&W audio system -- even though it means sacrificing the mouse and keyboard (which it truly does pain me to do) for a console controller and a battery pack. But you know what? When I get up from a long gaming session, I feel like I had a blast rather than like I just spent another ten hours crunching out code. As for sales? You sure as fuck better believe they matter. I'm concerned with PC sales, because I still look forward to that glory day when I can play Battlefield 3 on the PC (a game, unlike most shooters of recent years, that really does demand to be played on the PC). Not to mention, I'd sure as hell like to have a new Counter Strike down the road. Neither of these things are likely to occur, if the PC only accounts for single digit sales. "
Yes battlefield 3 is due to be released next year, and I'm sure the premier experience will once again be on the PC, and I doubt you'll be needing to worry about sales figures as their are more PC players playing Bad Company 2 online than Xbox or PS3.
