I didn't miss the mod support, honestly. The Modern Warfare series focuses too much on the cohesion of its mechanics for mods; there are tons of other games that benefit from that tinkering much more. 
 
What graphics settings did MW2 not have? What could you reasonably be comparing it to?

Get a decent cooler for the CPU, because it over clocks really well.

I owned the Xbox 360 version for a while, and it was terrible. I sold it after about putting at least 10 hours into it. Honestly, if you can't play it on PC, I'd just give this one a miss until you've got yourself a nice rig.
