I haven’t been on the blog in a bit because on Tuesday of last week I bought mass effect 3. I wanted to do a review of this game but like it says in the title this game has some real mass to it . I managed to get over 24 hours into the final chapter of this epic space adventure . Before I dig into this game I just going to let you the reader know that I have only played mass effect 2 so any criticism of Mass Effect 3 is in direct comparison to Mass Effect 2 not the series as a whole.

First things first the game looks fantastic Bioweare really up the ante with the graphics this game looks amazing the amount of detail in the some of the background is unreal. like the very first of the game when the Big old reapers hit earth and you see these massive alien robots taking out entire buildings as your running away its unreal . Second thing they made the shooting more face paced with adding a battle roll and improving the cover maniacs it feel like a really good third person shooter id say its up there with Gears of War but just because the shooting is good doesn’t mean they forgot what its like to make a Mass Effect game there’s still tons and tons of talking and choice to make (that’s my favorite part) so far all the dialogue has been really good and the choices you make have some real weight to them i find myself re thinking almost every choice i make. The story telling in this game is up there with some of the best I’ve ever played saying that if your new to Mass Effect don’t pick this one up do your self a favor and play at least the second one first.

One interesting new addition to Mass Effect is a multiplayer component now its not team death match or one on one, its a wave based with mission objectives throw in and you can have up to 4 people in co op its really fun and a nice addition but its not what you go to in a mass effect but its a welcomed experience and if you can get four friends to play with you its awesome.

Ok its judgement time the pressures on its my first game review from what I have played and I have to give this space epic a 5 Sheppard’s out of 5 now that’s not saying its perfect there are a few issue with the interface and the quest track that is annoying ad well as I’ve run into a few broken quest but the mass experience over all is stellar and I cant wait to see how it all ends.
