Take cover. Oh my god take cover.

Yeah, it's like he doesn't know what the shield icons mean. No wonder he's having trouble on Easy!

Dan "No Cover" Ryckert. Woof.

Based on the description I'm going with Catalina Island, since it's close in and (as I recall) is not as glamourus as people think it is (a very popular "exotic" trip seen in many 70's game shows as a prize)...

Did I get it @drewbert?

The complete lack of reaction by bystanders to stabby violence in the streets is really weird.

Oh there's a corpse in the street, I'll just keep walking; those Brits and their "stiff upper lip".

My favorite thing in any AC game was the shocked reactions/screams when a body would fall from a roof into the street in the first game.

@dannyodwyer@drewbert The Coen brothers first film was Blood Simple (I love that the Directors Cut is about 2:30 shorter than the released version) and I highly recommend it.

...going for a gyro tomorrow night (the best I've everr eaten is near my house - they build their own tower rather than use the chopped, pressed, formed... thing that comes out of a factory near Chicago that almost everyone in the US uses: linky).

Looney Tunes weren't a show but a series of cinematic shorts, disney had the exact same thing called Merry Melodies lol

Actually (pedant hat on) Disney had Silly Symphonies. Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies (started after Looney Tunes and Silly Symphonies) were both Warner.

This is my favorite thing with DD:

So this is Bowls?

It is, though the balls are not asymmetrically weighted.

Can you not fly up and down, here?

Correct. All of your movement is restricted to a flat plane. I don't really see how this style of combat could work if it wasn't, and that restriction does make navigation a whole hell of a lot easier to handle.

The perfect space combat for Khan Noonien Singh...
