Take-Two's viral marketing campaigns are getting really aggressive these days.
@seppli: Isn't a kotsu the blanket thing that Japanese people put on their tables during the winter to keep their legs warm while they're eating, watching tv, etc.?
The Amazon is great because she is an extremely powerful dps character. She is equally powerful on the ground or in the air and doesn't rely on limited use skills to maximize her damage output. Something I've had problems with playing the Elf.
Close second for me is the Wizard. His slow spell makes any boss fight that much easier.
The scene in Pacific Rim when Gypsy Danger walks up dragging a boat was such a great moment that I wish it wasn't spoiled in literally every piece of marketing material for the film.
I haven't seen it but I'll definitely look into it. I always loved the show back when it was on ABC and the British version was really great. I ended up seeing the one they did on the Game Show Network, had a month trial or whatever of the channel, watched a few episodes and I kind of hated it. All the improv games they played started fine but would eventually end with all the comedians in a dog pile. That's not comedy, that's football.
The Game of Thrones books killed whatever part of me that felt emotionally distraught when partaking in dark toned media. Not to say I'm dead inside, I still feel emotionally attached to the characters and feel sad when they die. I just don't have that need to stop every few chapters because I just can't take the bleakness. Like how Patrick described his time with The Last of Us.
I'm not convinced that saving Ellie doomed humanity. There are others like her in the world. I think one of the doctors notes said as much. If they are infected by the fungus but have no ill effects from the fungus you could suggest that they could still spread that mutated strain to their offspring, or even sexual partners. This would create a generation of people who are immune and they'd procreate and eventually I figure humanity would just eventually become completely immune to the fungus.
I dunno that's just how I interpreted events. Like what Ian Malcolm says, "life finds away..."
I like how you made your point in the first paragraph but continue to ramble on and reiterate the same point over and over until you have a big wall of text.
Also your rant reminded me of this guy for some reason:
