@arbitrarywater: @lawgamer: @toastman: I see, so there were way more gameplay changes then I thought, I actually hadn't played 3 before 4 came out, played a bunch of 2 though, but it was a long time in between so maybe that was why I didn't have any problems with 4 at all, really really loved it.

I believe if people went in considering it it's own thing instead of painstakingly comparing every aspect of it with it's predecessor they'd appreciated it a little more though, it was still a homm game after all, the changes were for the most part trifles from what you say imo, the main gameplay loop was still there, but then again I appreciate these games a lot and all but I don't consider myself a super fan so who am I to say.

But seriously we can all agree that the soundtrack is fucking amazing right? I mean just listen to that thing.

sorry didn't meant to turn this into a homm 4 discussion heh.

@arbitrarywater: I freaking loved IV, never really understood the hate it got, I guess it's because most of the heroes fanbase are a bunch of rabid idiots that can't accept change at all...

I really liked the fact that the heroes themselves where usable units in battle (which was one of the most hated additions if I remember correctly), I mean you could cast spells and all plus fuck shit up with your dude or lady, I don't understand why would anyone prefer a static figure that stands out of battle...

also the fucking Preserve town music

God I loved the soundtrack on IV.

If you haven't tried it yet I'd highly recommend Age of wonders III that came out a while ago instead of any of the recent heroes games, way way WAY better.

I managed it first time trough, skull figths are always BS, but I think I got a handle on em

I just brought quiet with lethal sniper, a freaking grenade launcher and a machine gun, just kept running around and shooting the hell out of em, managed to do it with no resupplies that way.

And yeah I would imagine that using d-walker would kinda make it a breeze.

nah, just a few staff members that join while you progress in the main story.

They help a bit because they're usually high level considering what you can get at the time they appear, but it doesn't make that big of a difference really.

Man it took FOREVER to get the patch on my ps3 version... it also failed about 4 times when it was at like 70-90% completed... and given how awesome the ps3 update system is I had to start it all over every single time, eventually it finished though.

So yeah I feel your pain man... though I assume updating stuff on the ps4 must be way better so at least there's that.

You could try using something like Recuva to see if you can retrieve the file, there's a chance but don't keep your hopes up.

You just have to find out where the saves are kept and scan in that folder.
