This might be the point where Dan realizes the tranq gun is actually better than the riot SMG. Please forget to change back to that shitty peashooter :)
We'll live streaming again this Wednesday, and while we'll most likely be finishing up Episode 2 of Life is Strange and maybe get into some of Episode 3 after that we've been thinking of making the show a 1-shot for games. I originally envisioned it as a place to try out a bunch of stuff we're either missing out on or haven't had time to check out but getting locked into one game defeats that purpose.
We may continue Life is Strange in a Playdate. That is a premium piece of content, so I don't want folks to feel like it's a bait-and-switch. Let me know what you guys think below, but that's the direction we're leaning right now. I like the idea of constantly testing games out in one feature, and if folks and we are interested in pursuing them further, do it in another feature for us and those people and leave the testing ground for people to recommend new games.
@bladededge: So they played 2 episodes out of 5 of LiS and decided to push that series to GBE playdate.
The original idea of this feature was to play a different game each time and pushing interesting series to GBE playdates should help with the original intent of this series.
Then again, i could see a lot of people voting for Phantasmagoria again. It's up to Giant Beast to decide if they want to play more of this, pass it to the playdate feature or just play something else.
I like the graphical style, but so far there doesn't seem to be fun things to discover in the sandbox mode. It seems like you're just trying your best to hold out long enough.
It's pretty crazy how this game functions like a Ps2 game in terms of having one specific path through the game surrounded by invisible walls. Austin trying to walk into the water and ending up walking in place is such a ps2 moment.
